DARKHOLD DIY cosplay Prop Build video (WandaVision)
In this video I make a DIY Darkhold prop from the Disney+ series WandaVision using basic craft supplies from home. There are free patterns linked below if you would like to build one.
Materials used: 6 mm and 2 mm EVA foam, paper, scrap leather, red battery powered lights
glues: hot glue, contact cement, superglue, dimensional mod podge
paints: flat black spray paint (primer coat), sandstone craft paint, brown craft paint
sealed with: mod podge gloss
tools used: Dremel 4000 rotary tool, xacto knife/scissors, heat gun, hot glue gun, paint brushes, sharpie, ball point pen, cutting mat

I like this design of the Darkhold a whole lot more than the one in Agents of Shield. Great looking prop. I wish they’d make an actual purchasable Darkhold copy for like Barns and Noble or something

Thanks! Yeah, I don't know who thought that was a good design to portray a tome of ultimate darkness on Agents of Shield... It definitely got a visual redemption on WandaVision! A purchasable Darkhold would be great, a real treat if they got their art team to come up with additional fake pages not seen in the show.

That's awesome! Just wondering how tall are yours, my computer does not want to print the pattern correctly so I don’t know how much he cut it 😕
What kind of paper did you use? Shopping for all materials now
How big or long size the book in cm?
Did you paint the fake pages?
Can you please send me the links of the paints you used :D I'm planning to make this and don't want it to end up looking shabby in the end because I got overconfident and coloured it all wrong.
