The fan mask incident was with LA PARK not La Parka.

Its still hard for me to tell what happened to Perro Jr's neck . The 619 looked like it barely grazed him . And the drop to the middle rope beforehand didn't look bad either . All I can thik is it was a cumulative effect that finally took its toll . Somewhat like Misawa . Too much abuse over time then one last move was all the neck could take . RIP to both those legends .

i read in one of the early reports that they suspected a pre-existing hairline fracture in his neck that rey's dropkick basically caused the vertebra to collapse entirely. that could be incorrect, but it isn't unreasonable. in the end, nothing else could have been done, short of perro not getting into the ring that night.

Ok you need to do more research. La parka didn't die. It was the second luchador to use the gimmick. The original goes by L.A. Park now

Another well-put-together documentary. Covering the darker side as the title states but also having some positivity in there too.

Not going to lie, I do feel sorry for the female wrestlers in Mexico having the deal with being looked at as eye candy along with probably hearing a lot of males saying a lot of inappropriate things to them. I know that they want to be looked at as wrestlers.

It’s the same in the rest of the wrestling world. All the women are eye candy first, wrestlers second. It’s the same for 95% of the men. Athletic bodies and sex appeal is the business.

Idk, but I went to a CMLL show in CDMX last weekend and wrestlers like Dragon Rojo and Soberano were catcalled by the female crowd with "hazme un hijo". 🤣😂

If you go to a wrestling show to watch and decide to touch the wrestlers in any sense, you have then chosen to get involved in the action and thus deserve to get punched

You are obviously not a Spanish speaker, but if doing a video with a lot of Non-English names or words in it, you should take the time to learn how to properly pronounce the words you will be using. It is completely disrespectful to butcher the name of a performer that is no longer with us, particularly when there are numerous examples of the proper pronunciation available online. For example, the word "hijo" is pronounced (ee ho). The letter "i" in Spanish is pronounced like the letter "e" in English, while "j" is pronounced like the letter "h" in English.
