The characters were rendered in photoshop as seperate pieced PNGs, and were assembled together to give the illusion of motion in Sony Vegas. It was a pretty time consuming process, but well worth it. :)

The animation for this song is remarkably well done. The lineless art style and the movement of the characters perfectly matches the dark theme of this song and it gives you a pretty good idea of what's going on.

why did I laugh when the Haku popped on screen also this is outstanding and very well made, so creepy and somber in a way, like the story line itself, and it captures that perfectly(also how before the twins sing it has them in their vocaloid outfits but still sewn together, I like it)

THIS. THIS IS AMAZING. The art style is rather simple-looking yet very detailed in a way, as well as quite haunting. A perfect match for this song. Your mentioned inspiration from Thai shadow puppetry was very well executed. ...I sound like a teacher. Bottom line: AWESOME.

Wow I just love how this is layed out and the angles,the shadows of the characters and just the sound and atmispire make this fantastic plus it gives a sereal vison on what this place would be like and look like that I have no others words to say but-claps hands-Well done!

Supposedly during the Edo period (kinda like before and during world war 1) many families were poor and had little money, so they sold unwanted children: orphans, the homeless, devil children etc. They were then experimented on (like transplants and shit) and the ones who survived would be put into freak shows. Some even speculate that if they did something wrong or misbehaved they had acid thrown on them or were tortured. But then, it says Kaito has a brain transplant for a dog's and Rin and Len's heads were decapitated and sewn back on onto one body, and currently that could never be done with them surviving so chances are it's bogus.

Fishy Boi It never says that directly, but there is a fan made version called 'Wide knowledge of the late madness'. It's a prequel from miku's point of view which gives more description on what happens to them all before the girl is kidnapped in this song. :3

The Song Is based on true events that had happened i think during the times of the World Wars or Something where children got experimented on and sometimes died as a result.

It could possibly be based off of real life invents, but the story itself is not entirely true. It is true that Circus's at times would be very abusive to freaks and animals.

In my theory, the ringmaster at the end was Meiko, and the little girl was Meiko Sakine, a derivative of Meiko someone made to make her sound younger. Look her up on the Vocaloid Wiki for more info.
