I actually did something like this and won. The big things can go unnoticed, especially if no one realizes they are a prop. I couldn't contain my laughter as I started moving around to show everyone that had passed me by for 15 minutes

Gives me calm to know even the great witch, Zullie, has to skulk around as darkly looming castle tower fixtures like the rest of us.

idk why but just seeing her run away at the end is the most adorable thing ive ever seen.

I hated those things until I found out hidden body actually hides you from them, now I still hate them, but now theyre more manageable.

Bro they were even stronger before, 1 week after ringed city came out they put a patch to reduce the angels damage

I ADORE the sound design of these enemies. A croaking wretch , not quite alive nor dead, inundated with a shimmering holy magic

Grand Edit: This is apparently outright false. Chameleon in both DS1 and DS3 prevent enemies from detecting you whilst your are standing still. The effect might even be stronger in DS1, where enemy aggro is apparently easy to reset. The reason I thought this was because it does not provide a numerical stealth bonus like other effects (ring of fog, slumbering dragoncrest) It appears that the stealth effect of Chameleon is a hard coded "enemies cannot detect you." TIL. The original comment: The weirdest thing with messing with Special Effects initially, was probably that Chameleon doesn't give you a stealth boost at all **in DS1**. The only benefit is the reduced noise from being forced to walk instead of run. Edit: in DS3, Chameleon works as you'd expect. Neat.

Well, I did the same trick against this enemy and it didn't work. That said, against an invader it worked. I transformed into a chair and blended among the many chairs in one of those rooms and the invader couldn't find me. 😆

So interesting detail here when it comes to the angel's and there "sight". It's very interesting, within runs that I do where I'm like ng+7 or more. I use the invisibility spell plus the silent footsteps ring. This makes any angel just unable to locate me. A similar thing is happening here as well. Most mobs in the game won't notice you from a distance right away if your disguised as a object. But as soon as you move or make some kind of footstep noise, they pick you up. As for if you are holding still, they need to get within spitting distance to discover you. The angel's iv noticed have a stupid high sight range and lock on. However when trying the same skips that I do on multi newgame playthrews. If I am not wearing the silent footsteps ring. The angel will pick it up right outside of that first hiding shed.

Oddly enough buildings are one of the few moving things there
