In Dark souls 1, pyromancies actually have fire sound effects and you can feel that you are incinerating the enemies. In DS 3, pyromancies have a strange sound effect, seems like a blood sound effect when you hit the enemies.

I've been noticing a lot of hate comments in this video and I don't think this video deserves it. This video is for people who want to see the effects of different pyromancies, what they can do, and how they are different from others. We all know what these pyromancies do, they kill enemies but all in different ways. That's why we're here.

But they DON'T show the effects. For example poison and toxic mist, undead rapport, flash sweat, power within, karthus beacon, and he did technically show what warmth does but VERY poorly.

There's a lot of pyromancies in this video that I just didn't get what they did. I mean, seeing they make the character look slightly "gastly" doesn't really tell me anythinf

And what is this so-called "inspiration"? Is it flashiness and how cool the spells look? Maybe you're right, they could've made them look a little more extravagant. But the game is solely based around its gameplay mechanics/fighting mechanics. It's all about what's practical to the game. I wouldn't compromise the precise nature of these gameplay mechanics, that the Dark Souls franchise has, for anything! Let alone for the spells to look cooler. I just don't think that's what the game is about. And plus, the only similarity I see between DS and DD is how they look aesthetically. Aside from that, they're both really different games.

@@leethejailer9195 Funnily enough sorceries are the best in pvp out of the three. Against good players that is, you can hit any spell against trash players

tl;dw: Fire (+Chaos/Black Fire) Orb / Profaned Flame - and, Carthus Flame Arc for melee (tho, a +Uchigatana w/ Fire Gem it's better).

Rasen shuriken get it by beating the old demon king in smouldering lake

Pyromancy is rooted in herecy, with the witch of izalith and the daughters of chaos. since those spells were created by heretics, they are compatible with the Pyromancy flame

Combine it with a dagger that has Quickstep and you are fast and your poise is ridiculous. It also makes boss battles cake since you can just spam CBV without being interrupted.

As a pure pyro build + Onyx Blade that scales on int and Faith I can say that iron flesh saved my life in tricky situations quite a lot of times

So I’m not wrong, flamethrower sucks

Using poison/toxic mist, but not showing the effects, not showing the effects of acid surge, not a single one of your black flames hit the enemy, using rapport on unrapportable enemies, using the sweat buffs but not showing the effects, iron flesh without any difference shown. dislike
