I can speak for programming and freelaning. Expect to not get (ANY) client in your first year. In year 2, you will be struggling as well, but there will be few good clients (1-3 max). Year 3, you can expect to start making just as much as an entry level programmer (2-3 lac/ month). By this time, you have learnt most things about programming and working itself. Yaha se thori achi Zindagi shuru hoti hai.

Very True. Its my 2nd year in Freelancing as ML engineer. Very harsh struggle and requires sabar a lot. In the first year, I saw fluctuations in my income, sometimes high and sometimes low. But, as time passes by, you build your connection your profile and have consistency, InnShaaAllah you'll see results that you'll be earning > 2-3 lakhs per month InnShaaAllah. @@muhammadshahzaib-by7kb not that much. Best way is to read a lot and then do a lot of writing practice and then show it to someone who actually knows good English. Now you can use chat gpt but not to give you full copy but put your writing there and ask it to correct your grammar and advise you what to work on.

@sufi-yc3ml here are some tips 1) You have to make changes to your profile regularly to your upwork profile. (Improving your profile) 2) set a lower hourly rate in the beginning 3) attach testimonials, certifications, and any previous clients feedback (outside upwork) 4) bid on jobs daily and you have to buy connects if you don't have enough. 5) just don't rely on upwork only. Make a profile on fiver, freelancer to be on the safe sidd. 6) make connections on Linkedin Pros : alot of money without any tension of inflation

Survey the market , Choose few skills that you may think you have interest in and the skills should be demanding in market and with less competition rate. Try every skill , experience that particular skill to it's core, you don't find it relevant to your interests? Leave it and switch to another one , gradually there'll be a point in your life you'll find a skill your passionate about. Then just focus on that particular skill whether its related to Design, Coding, Data Engineering , etc. Master that particular skill to it's core , It'll take some time but it'll help you grow both professionally and personally. Just believe in yourself and achieve your goals !
