Sometimes I think Treyarch just throws some totally random story elements in there and then just sits tight waiting for Milow's theory video. Just imagine Jason Blundell sitting in front of a screen with a pencil and a notebook, watching the video like " Ahh.... well... that makes sense...I never thought somebody could make something out of that mess... young Richtofen....that's a pretty good explanation for that! I'll keep it!". Then they take the notebook and start making up the story for the next map xD.

Martyn Hayes I agree. MotD was also great as a stand-alone story separate from the rest of the timeline. Anything after Moon not including Mob is non-canon to me. Like a bad fan fiction.

24:00 I think the community is over complicating this a little. The Primis Richtofen in Classified is post-rev Richtofen and this takes place some time (soon) after the BOTD ending. At the end of BOTD none of them have blood vials anymore and they step through the portals to leave, I assume they go somewhere briefly and in this time Richtofen changes out of his great war garb and back into his normal clothes before they resume their journey and head to collect Ultimis from Classified. The reason Richtofen changes his clothes is because otherwise it would arise a lot of suspicion from Monty. They want to make it seem like they are following the cycle whilst planning a way to stop Monty.

TheUnknownAK yeah, that's what I thought. It also gives Nikolai some time to read the chronorium and gain some knowledge about Dr. Monty, the Shadow Man, Apothicons, Keepers, etc. And there is no reason for Richtofen to continue wearing the Rev outfit.

Milo. You're forgetting that Blood is a pocket dimension where Monty can't see Primis. Anywhere else, he can see most of what they do, and if they're planning to fight Dr. Monty, Richtofen wearing a Knight's Tunic would definitely raise suspicion. And according to the scribbles on the wall in classified, "they can only hear you if you give them your soul" he can keep track of what all of primis says, except for Nikolai, since he still has his soul. At least that's my theory.

Spencer McRae when the soul is in the house Monty has full control over that person as a whole and is essentially watching over them. Monty we found out is bad. Which is why Nikolai having his soul is very important.

This actually makes sense as young Richthofen would have met Zombie Richthofen. That’s why Ultimus Richthofen says “aw schniezer...,” because he would actually know the exact look of young Richthofen from giving those blood vials.

Damn how did 57 minutes and 28 seconds pass so easily? You are the best milo💜

I've realized something and it might be clarifying why only Primis Nikolai talks at the Classified cutscene. It can also explain why Monty wants the collected souls from the BO3 cycle in the house. First of all be aware that in the normal cycle after Zetsubou Primis travels to Alcatraz for the blood and then to Gorod, grabbing the last soul they need which is Nikolai. All 3 other souls are already in the house. Now after the events of BotD, the only soul they haven't collected is Nikolai because they haven't been to Gorod. Could it be that 1 of the reasons Monty wants the souls is because he can observe Primis's progression throughout the dimensions that way, being the almighty entity that he is? One of Richtofen's versions could've discovered this during the cycle break. This would explain why only Nikolai talks during the Classified cutscene, because his soul is not in Monty's posession.

My personal idea about this is that shortly after the rockets hit the earth, samantha was pulled from richtofen’s body and then the 4 get teleported to classified. Then not much long after zombie richtofen gets his soul in his body. I back this up by the crew talking about the earth blowing up very recently. So I think the classified cutscene takes place no more than 2 days after the events of moon

Moon happens & richtofen switches places with samantha . 10 years go by , buried happens & maxis gets in control of the aether & takes samantha out of richtofen's body on moon & puts richtofen's soul in a zombie. Thats when ultimis gets teleported to classifed . Richtofens body isnt functioning because samantha's soul got taken out of his body & his soul is in a zombie . Then the zombie richtofen (og richtofen) teleports to classified and gets his original body back.

I haven't subscribed to someone in forever, but this video was absolutely outstanding and I need to be updated on all that is this story. I also haven't played or kept up with the story since BO1 and you have managed to catch me up on the important details to where I feel like I understand so much. your uploads are crazy milo, love your vids and agree on your ideas. I have just a small suggestion: Maybe it would at some points be more helpful if you would e.g. show pictures of the specific richtofen you are talking about so we can follow you more easily. It is not necessary though, but for people who are new into it would get it way better!

What if when ultimis Richthofen comes back from the moon after the Easter egg, there’s a point where doctor monty or maxis plucks Samantha’s soul from richtofens body to put in the house, that would explain how her soul was there with eddy in the origins cutscene

I think it's pretty clear that the Classified cutscene takes place literally right after the end of Blood of the Dead, I think that Richtofen changing his outfit is exactly that, he just changed his outfit because I guess Treyarch doesn't want him to be wearing his Great War outfit all of the time.

Heres my honest thought of the clothing 36:00 . Treyarch needs to sell dlc outfits for blackout, so what a better idea for the zombies crew than the great war outfits. So i doubt they will change outfits.

Awesome job! I have an additional piece to add about the house. Monty needs the innocent souls to take away their Free Will. As he specifically states that Primus still existing puts his perfect world at risk and says "bloody free will" is the cause.
