The writing for this show is insane. Most sci-fi shows like this have tons of plot holes and ideas that are only partially flushed out but Dark delivers on all fronts and it’s more of an experience than a show.

When you rewatch stranger things ,you feel like you already know everything. But when you rewatch Dark, you start discovering things which you didn't in first watch and it picks your interest even more than before. Thats the biggest difference between Dark and other sci fi series.

Dark openings are genius masterpieces. The scenes are distorted enough to not give spoilers, but clear enough to get your curiosity and attention.

0:55-1:23 this part .....gives me goosebumps everytime...the music is soo beautiful yet creepy...like the series itself

The presence of parallel worlds has been hinted since the first episode through these beautiful mirrored intros , this takes some truly outstanding writing and direction.

bro dark was one of the shows i wish i could see again for the first time, i remember it being winter in australia and australia is quite a hot place so when it’s winter it’s nice and cool and just staying up late watching this, even though i didn’t even understand a lot of it throughout my first watch, dark was in my opinion one of the greatest shows ever, i loved the intro and just ambient music, the storyline was unpredictable and hard to keep track of and just something so different than other shows, this never got boring, the town of winden is just beautiful with tall trees and a cold looking climate, this was all up a amazing show and i god damn wish i could go back to 2019 to see it for the first time again

I already watched it but I still go back and search the scenes where it's raining in the woods...just love it so much !! I downloaded the whole series 2 years ago but it's still in my phone. Voice expression is 50% of acting. Dubbing takes a lot away from the performance and adds an uncessary fake feel to it.

5 reasons why dark series is masterpiece - 1) concept which is really unique and interesting with time travel 2) every 3 seasons scenes are not just thriller and mysterious they are shocking 😲😱 3) while starting intro I never skip which will really make you goose pimples 😱😱 and looks like we are entrying in to the dark world . Outstanding and intense BGM I never listened in my life 4) jonas and Martha are perfect match ❤️😍😍😘😘😘 5) dialogues ❤️❤️❤️😍👌👌😍😍 especially "beginning is the end End is the beginning" and " Its Deja Vu or glitch in the matrix" ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍😍😘😘😘❤️😍😍❤️❤️

To be honest near the end of this theme the dark clouds breaking thundering...gives me chills and goosebumps..

I was just thinking the same thing. The way this show was written is one gigantic puzzle that you don't know what the end picture is, but everything fits into place when the time it right, absolutely amazing story telling. I just started rewatching the show for a 4th time (third time for season 2) to get ready for season 3 and every time I watch it I pick up things I never noticed before. I swear, this show gets better every time you watch it. Masterpiece!

I don't know what's so mesmerizing about this song and intro but this and the show were pretty damn good

Watched this intro again after 7 months of finishing the show ... Goosehumps all over my body throughout the whole video. What an amazing experience we had.

These awards don’t matter, they completely disregard every anime movie or just anime series in general alongside with foreign-made series that don’t have English as their primary language. Dark is just deserving of many of these things as I’m not into s2. It is so much better than stranger things.

Award shows are like a school talent show. Some quiet kid could go out there with his guitar and flawlessly play Satch Boogie, but the popular kid who goes up with his out of tune ukulele and plays wonderwall will win anyways. It’s not about quality, it’s about how many people watch it. Case in point Game of Thrones seasons 7 & 8 won emmys despite those seasons literally ruining the entire show (which was a really fucking good show before those seasons came along)

Only one episode in, and that show already captivated me. A modern and digested twin peaks with glorious photography, I can’t wait to jump back into this universe. Hope it’ll hold on to it’s promesses ! Thanks for sharing this opening, I can’t seem to get enough of it !

Indeed, less artsy than Twin Peaks (and therefore more commited to finding a way out instead of escaping into the supernatural/metaphysical) and less technical than Donny Darko. The best of two worlds.

Herr Schmidt nothing in Twin Peaks was based in reality. David Lynch let’s us know from jump so anyone who complains about the show drifting into nothing and giving non conclusive elements are baseless complaints. The supernatural was just a piece of the puzzle

This song started playing at the grocery store and I froze

After watching season 3, I completely understood that any Parents in this world can do any impossible things for their child. One father lives 33 years back & do suicide so his son can live. Other one creates a time machine so he can get back his son from death. One mother can solve this whole mystery of 26 episodes so that her daughter can beat the cancer & live. If you don’t understand what i wrote then you have to watch season 3 | DARK. Peace ✌🏻

This show is a masterpiece. I have to believe this is one of those works of art that marinated in the creator's head for quite some time before it was put to film. Those are usually the best.

Yeah, the acting quality actually surprised me. But maybe that's because german movies are mostly comedic and rarely as serious and, well, dark as Dark was. PS, if you liked it I may recommend Who Am I with Elias M'Barek. It's a german hacker film, also one of the serious ones, and it will definitely fuck your mind.

@Hamza Ali for non-native English speakers maybe. But for native English speakers it is very different. A bit rugged and theatrical, nearly somewhat staged. But it is a German production not a British or American one after all, so it's interesting to see how German and English interactions seem to differ but I would not say more "realistic", that certainly depends on the point of view.

Herr Schmidt all the seasons of lost were amazing. Ok sometimes it was very ridiculously strange, but it was a very good show. I love it, and I love Dark, because it is very similar to lost(sorry for my bad English)

This show ..simply tells what human imagination is all about ...what a beautiful script and a way to tell the story telling 10 /10

I think the best thing about the series is how every single character is really deep, complicated, and interesting (except hannah). And going through time really gives you a feel for their development

Dark is 33 years more better then Stranger Things .

This show is incredible. One of the most brooding, atmospheric shows I’ve ever seen in my life. Great story and amazing acting as well.... if you’re watching in German with English subtitles.

Season 1 definitely had the best intro. So dark and foreboding. At that point in the show, we didn’t know if the show was supernatural or science fiction.

Everything is perfect. Soundtrack, character build, heck even the actors chosen to portray (it's just impeccable work they did with that)... And then the plot. Maybe someday there'll be a better show, but I can confidently state for a long time now nothing's gonna surpass this treat of a show.
