Null is even less than zero. Empty void, that contains only nothing. A hole without anything in it, but it still exist. So simple, yet so beautiful. Another great piece, Lucas.

And in programming null is not zero. Sorry everyone, I'm a nerd and maybe null means zero in some languages, but for me it will be two different things. Still, thanks for saying your thoughts! The more you know...

Barren. Empty. Null. Void. Nothing was there. No sound to hear. So empty that there is nothing to fear. Only you. No one else but the empty silence. Quite winds don't even whisper, Not even a peep. The void you have walked in was very deep. To think such a places even exists. Ironic. The place that doesn't exists, exists? So silly it would be if the void had someone other than just you and me. Oh but you don't see Where could I possibly be? I am the irony of this place. The nullness and the empty space. I guess this could possibly be. Because now it's just you and me. And we are nothing but together.

I have come to realize. To realize that I am nothing in many's eyes. Nobody would really miss me. Nobody would really care. All that I thought was real Was blown right in the air Now I don't know why I have nothing left to feel Now my words are empty I don't know what is ideal Why do I exist? I feel like I'm just null I can't find a reason Nor can I find a pull I don't even know Know what to consider full I don't really feel whole When I thought I had a handful A handful of hope It turns out they were empty I don't know how to cope And after all *I am null.*

A beautiful piece,made me ponder if I truly was free from depression, I now know I'll never be truly free but it's music like this that helped me through it so I'll be okay knowing that there's music like this out there waiting for me on those darkest of times, thank you lucas for your music and with help from a psychologist got me through that depression

Look, you may have depression but you must remember this, there are many people that cares for you. Can't say I know what your going through because I don't know you. Wish I did tbh.. as a programmer it is the unit of nothing, even zero is a value when considered in programming...but not null...null is an empty void.

I don't know what 'null' means, but it's like 'zero' in German. It can also be used as a insult (Du bist eine Null) which means something like 'you are nothing'. I think that suits the melody. (It's great work, I'm not doubting that)

It's typically used in the term "null and void", which is basically empty and barren. So it basically does mean "nothing". Hope that helped!

I love every single piece you've created. Started out with Sociopath, loved it, then Sociopath Music Box which I found creepy and no small part disturbing. But each one is able to capture the disorder and feeling displayed, whether the piece is more simplistic or more complex they are still capable of bringing together to form this abstract concept based on nothing but feeling and emotion. Very well done.

How do you make such good music? Like, shit the soundscapes you're able to create with mostly just piano and a few background sounds at times... Lord I envy your skills xD

It was a computer term taken from German because of the creator of FORTRAN and has remained ever since. It have kind of become an English term for "absolute zero" because of how computers define null over zero.
