DARK MERMAID IN THE WATER 💀 Mermaid Shadow the Pirate Mermaid's First Underwater Swim Video
Gothic Colorshifting Mermaid swimming underwater with her new Miishy Fins silicone mermaid tail. This video shows my new Miishy Fins silicone mermaid tail from an underwater point of view. This silicone tail weighs 45 lbs and is quite difficult to swim with, so please forgive my lack of underwater mermaid tricks - simply swimming was a bit exhausting! This mermaid character is named Shadow. She was inspired by my favorite pirate, the Chinese pirate Gan Ning. The bells, brocade fabric and "wow" factor of the colorshifting pigment are all nods to this interesting and innovative river pirate. The bell you hear in this video is actually an old bell from the Han Dynasty time (filmed safely and carefully on land), which is the time period when Gan Ning was alive and well. :)
Since my GoPro was giving me issues the day we filmed this, I had to film the video on my Sony FDR X3000, which does not have good audio. In future videos, you will be able to hear the bells on my waist in addition to the sounds of the ancient bells. But for now... best I can do is ancient bells. ._.

Right!? It makes trying to dress to match the tail a bit tricky. Like, it turns blue sometimes. I'm not sure what colors I'm supposed to wear to match the darn thing. Red? Blue? Rainbows? Lol it's all over 😂

That dark mermaid tail is absolutely mesmerizing. You look both sinister AND sensual. I just keep wishing you had a wild head of dark hair like Phantom's white mane. Have you considered using different wigs with any of your other tails? Phantom is such a beautiful character, and part of the allure is that hair. The whole look is so beautiful on you.

It’s coming out the end of August or in September. It reminded me of your fairy and exploring nature videos. I love your nature video. Thank you! 🥲🖤🏴☠️ Eehhh... it depends on the water temperature, my mood and my exhaustion levels, really. In cold, water that requires me to fight waves (even the smallest of waves) anywhere from 15-30 seconds. In a warm pool while swimming, 30 seconds to 1 minute. And in a bathtub not moving, I've done 2 minutes. So I'm not a breath holding expert 😅
