In 2005 I dreamed I was returning from lunch at work in a mall and when I turned the corner to go upstairs I came face to face to another “me”. The other “me” said “no no no, you shouldn’t have seen me” and I woke up. I’ll never forget that dream. I was only 15 at the time and I remember it vividly. This shows is driving me crazy now with thoughts, especially because of that dream.

@@gregwilliams3120 glad you asked. I was older in the dream (not sure how old) and I started to work at a mall in London at 19 and worked in malls until I was 25. In the dream, me and the “other me” looked like we were the same age.

I was about to say the same thing. Unfortunately, in order to get a heart transplant, someone has to die and it may have actually been someone he knew, maybe in a car accident or something. Or maybe after he got this stranger's heart, he went and learned about her. Survivor's guilt. I had a feeling that Max would pop up in one of the worlds, why else have it as a plot point? My understanding is that this was new for the show and not in the book.

I have a good theory, original Jason did not visit his family because he knew Jaye had taken over his life and was with Amanda. The scene where Jason watches his family is the 3rd Jason, whose Amanda died. He didn't suspect Jaye had taken over his life, which is why he went straight to his family, explaining the gap before the gun shop visit.

​@@revstrading, this makes sense to me. I was wondering why we saw Jason come out of the box elated to be back home, yet was not concerned about walking the streets and going straight to his home. Our Jason would be concerned walking the street and going to his home first because he knows bad Jason is out there. So, it would make sense that the first Jason in the gun shop is "our" Jason.

The question is, at what point did Jason #3's timeline deviate and why? It was very recent since he's wearing the same clothes as #1.

I think that for every different choice, even in the box (choosing a door and the choices in those worlds)... it creates a new reality. This would explain why the Blair in EP5 we saw watched video of a different Blair with the bugs coming out of the box to kill everyone. We saw them visit a reality where Jason and Amanda didn't make it to the box before the snow world. This is going to get nuts.

Actually, I think she is Charlie, and the "I am your other son" was said by Max sarcastically, like in "hey, you don't even remember your only son name, that little you care about me" tone... So, to summarize, in the that world Daniella is still an artist, Max is alive, Charlie not, and he was a she in this world, or there was a possibility of third one, an unnamed sister...

@@cardboard2night There's a family picture on the wall behind Max as he walks down the stairs with Daniela, Jason and both sons (as teenagers). Jason calls him Max a couple times and he didn't correct him. Max said "that girl is dead", I don't think he would have said "that girl" if it was his own sister. I think "Holly" was either a friend or a stranger he learned about after the transplant. All conjecture though. She could have been a sister who died when he was little and he got her heart. Max died as a toddler in Jason1's world.

I’m curious about what happened to the missing Amanda in the Utopian world. She might also be a multiverse traveler.

I rewatched the episode and noticed that the 2nd Jason that walked into the store has the rubber band on his ringer just like the original Jason!

He is similar verson of Jason..but who is from the original world....the differences could be little..the same could happen to many Jasons, and there are little details different that not even them can see it...the moment you live your universe, it is less likely you come back to your own, similar yes...same..no. When something is infinite...it is infinite...and for example this world we are in, there could be same world but just one simple thing is different, one day you woke up with alarm, the other world you did not...and that is the only difference. It is very unlikely one person actually can get back to the world they have been 2x...but logic aside, it is fun show.

I believe they are accessing their own accounts or spending small amounts at a time. A large heist would mean a huge influx of counterfeit cash into the system. That would cause issues in a world youre trying to stay in. Small transactions wouldnt go noticed and wouldnt effect you if youre not staying

Exactly… Amanda and our Jason belong together they’ve been setting up since episode 1 and I’m betting she and his friend will go to save our Jason then the friend will want to return along with Amanda and our Jason once they kill Jason 2, and this third Jason will take his place and be with his wife and son because I’m betting the third Jason is going to end up being a Temporal Pincer Movement and is basically the same Jason but from a different time

Amanda, in Jason 1's universe, is a psychologist, so he'd has no reason to seek her out. He may not even know her, and Amanda's universe, she was part of the cover-up with Leighton, where Ryan was killed. I don't see her needing to track a version of Ryan down for any reason. The only thing I can think of would be if Ryan was watching who came out of the box off screen and was following Jason 1 and Amanda. Maybe he even thinks that's the same Jason that stranded him and would approach Amanda thinking he did the same to her.

Amanda1 is in the same parallel world as Ryan1. They'll likely meet Jason4 at his shop, who may have built his own "box." With Amanda1's two ampules, Ryan1 could reproduce them using the world's advanced tech, like Amanda1's sophisticated passport. The cloudy-to-sunny transition when Amanda1 cried in the elevator was brilliant!

@@GeneralZod1991 Based on the "empathy" of that world, Amanda1 will return to Jason4, show him the Ampuls, he will mention Ryan1 asked him the same, they all meet and Jason4 takes both of them to his box. Then to an advanced lab. I would think Amanda1 was briefed on Ryan as part of her job, therefore their ampul could be even more targeted. Those three are the key.

I refer to Amanda2 as Amanda1 based on her initial appearance, and I apply the same logic to other characters, because if I identify characters the other way, the show would be difficult for people to track. It’s more of a right hemisphere visual marker style.

THE SIX JASONS: "JASON" AKA "JASON1" - The original Jason from episode 1 who gets abducted from his world "JASON2" - The Jason from episode 1 who built the box and abducted Jason1 to switch lives with him "JASON3" - Is caught trying to escape by Leighton2 & Dawn2 (who kills Amanda2) in episode 4. "JASON4" - Is watched by Jason1 through the window as he dances with Daniela6 in episode 5. "JASON5" - Is asleep in bed next to Daniela8 when Jason1 quietly enters their bedroom "JASON6" - Enters the gun store just moments after Jason1 leaves and is near identical to Jason1 in appearance (same cuts, same "wedding band", same clothes and backpack) except Jason6 has a splint on his left pinkie. There you go. That's all of them for now. Every time we meet another version of a character we've already been introduced to the show (through the AD or "audio description" track) sequentially numbers them. Typically the original character is addressed by just their name with each following character having their numeric sequence added starting at 2 then 3, 4, 5 and so forth. Keeping that in mind that means (I believe) there are 8 Danielas, 4 Amandas, 3 Leightons, 3 Ryans, 3 Blairs, 2 Charlies, 2 Dawns, and 1 Max.

I’m convinced all these Jason Variants are like Kang 😂

I think the “Jason #6” is because it’s the sixth Jason we’ve seen overall in the multiverse. Remember, it’s audio descriptions, so it would be calling out every Jason, in order, and would have to distinguish between each one. Along with the three universe-hopping Jasons, we have the one that never made it to the box with Amanda, the one that he watched in Episode 6, and the one we see in this episode in the universe where Max survived. That’s 6 Jasons.

I have a theory. I need to re-watch to confirm, but I believe we are following more than 3 Jasons. Reason being, if you notice in this episode, the finger snapping sound effect. It happened so many times. It was always used to signify, we were jumping between the two Jasons. This episode however. It was snapping for what seemed like no apparent reason. I was like, why the snapping here if we are still following Jason1? Unless... It's saying, we aren't following Jason1, this is a variant whose timeline is very close. The gun shop scenes made me even more suspicious. Sales lady even said "he walked out about 20 seconds before you walked in." I could be wayyy off though. Half asleep typing this. The snapping could've also just been alluding to the 3rd Jason. I'm not sure what it means, but I know it's important.

I’m with you on this idea. The snaps were so frequent it made me lose track of how many Jason’s there were. Each snap is a different Jason but we might have gotten into thinking we were just watching two (good guy/bad guy). But we’ve been watching multiple ‘good’ Jason’s. That was shown a couple of episodes back when there was a distinct out of place snap. On rewatching there were 2 scenes that appeared continuous but weren’t (lying in hotel bed but the light cast by the hotel sign was blue in one scene, red in another). But what I don’t know is have we also been seeing multiple ‘bad’ Jason’s?

If there's Jasons that didn't make it to the box and got shot then there's Jasons that made it. Apart from sounds cues you have different ampoule amounts, disappearing field note book, etc. So you're watching a bunch of Jasons trying to get back. Who knows how many.

Did anyone also realize the same doctor who treated him in the hospital in episode 2 is the same doctor who helped him on the street in episode 5?

anyone else notice the loose staircase knob in ep. 1 ? refering to the brilliant movie 'it's a wonderful life' . in ep. 7 this movie is playing in the theater when jason 1 arrives in his world and he also runs down the snowy allee back home just like james stewart in the classic. loved it.

I’m kind of amazed that with this Box showing up in all of these universes there hasn’t been a time when they come out or back from investigating the town that there isn’t a government led group of military and scientists, etc… waiting there to seize everything

Now I'm going crazy over this show cuz what in the world is happening, have to wait an entire week to know the answer, curiosity is killing me, amazing show!!!!!!

We get a click to a different Jason’s pov. This is gonna be Jason number 3. Or Trey Jay. This is the most important part of this show now. Everything from here is gonna be crazy.

I'm wondering if the 3rd Jason came into play after the previous episode had the snap sound but no change to jump into another world as other times when the world jump happens.

@@serqetry Not really. It's not about jumping from different Jason's necessarily, it's about changing worlds. And sometimes there's a jump to a new world without a scene of him going back into the box. So they designate it by using the snap.

@@serqetry Yeah I think the big confusion, is that for so long we assumed the snap was to differentiate between the two Jasons. But then they use it a couple times to show the same Jason hop to different worlds, without showing the box. So now we know what the snap really means. And then that allows them to use it in different ways later on. Kind of segueing the other Jasons into the story that way. Without us really noticing.

Nah, Jason we followed found his way back, but also other Original Jasons found their way back. For one of them Amanda died in that frozen world, for others different events happened, but all found their way back.

I knew it. I went super autistic last episode after all the clues and thought if there is realities where Jason and Amanda get shot then there's ones where they too made it into the box. Then after having sound cues, disappearing field notebook, different amounts of ampoules it came together that the big twist is we are watching more than one Jason return to his wife. So how many will there be? 🤔

Jason 2 has the wedding ring of the Og Jason on his finger, while Jason 1(Og) has a brace on his finger as a reminder of his family. However, Jason 3 doesn't have a brace on his wedding finger but a bandage on his pinky, so there are definitely three of them.

J2 has been telling his therapist that he wants to just leave. He may have been doing this before and had disrupted 2 Jason's their lives and both been trying to get back home. Maybe he took 1 to his world and the other to one just like it like when we saw J1 get out of box to see similar playouts where they got caught. I don't remember if both were killed. Or maybe we have 2 J2's that did same thing to 2 J1's and now 2 J1's in same place. But did we see J3 in Amanda's new world? There is a moment when we see a J in lobby right before Amanda gets there but doesn't see him.

So when I watched the whole episode with audio description on they refered to the 2nd Jason in the gun store as Jason 6. Jason 1 is the og Jason. Jason 2 obviously is the one who took over Jason 1's world. Jason 3 is the one with where Amanda got shot. Jason 4 is the one in pandemic world where he died. Jason 5 is the one where Jason 1 was standing next to bed with what they call Daniela 7 (the one where Max is alive) and Jason 6 is the one from the gun store.

@@NeterRafi77 Ohhh, I wonder if that's because our OG Jason 1 came close to stealing that world. But then he decided against it though admitted he came close. Just like where Amanda broke down how each Jason can be subtly different dependent on previous experiences, I bet there was a Jason with a subtly different life than OG Jason who didn't formulate the empathy as strong OG Jason and he did in fact decide to take over the world by repeating the methods of Jason 2. Jason 2 really did create a series of different realities in which Jason was not only kidnapped, but taught to kidnap and eject even more Jasons in the pursuit of finding their lost world again.

I haven’t watched the episode yet and the intro got me hyped to watch it….be right back

I wonder if the new Jason is the Jason where Amanda was killed so he ended up traveling alone hence also able to go back home but without Amanda. I think the divergence point is when Amanda was shot and killed

Yeah I'm not sure this "3 Jasons" thing is correct. I think they were just the same two we've been seeing. I could be wrong though. There was a scene in a trailer where two Jasons are talking in a bar... but I assumed that would happen in a different universe. Either way if they start throwing more than 2 at us, it's going to get more confusing than it already is with the occasional seemingly inconsistent use of the snap sounds and the show will start losing people. I hope it all works out and makes sense. If Jasons are branching into more Jasons off-camera, that seems like a bad writing decision.

So was that a different velocity? If so then that means there's more than one jason that made the box and if so how many jason is trying to "steal" jason's life with Daniela and how many jasons was affected?

i never expected the show to be this good. i didn’t think they would go there . multiverse theory implies there are universes and Jason 1 finding his original universe is practically impossible. However he could go to a universe which deviates from his and still has bad jason one. the deviation could be as small as Bad Jason choosing a different shirt to wear on the day after he switched him. There’s no way to know. at this point there are billions of deviations of his universe with bad jason in it. it was hopeless from the jump.

Omg!...maybe the split of the og jason in the shop into the 3rd one is because something tragic or momentous happened ...like see with the garage owner Ryan his timeline split after a crash accident in his youth..and our og his was the child & wife decision....So probably something happened in the next set of events..possibly to do with the weapons..that caused a point of split , a different life path lets say....yoooh!!! Can't freaking wait for next week

I was starting to think there was a Jason 3 because I noticed almost every time you hear that *click* noise between scene transitions (sounds just like the click in Nintendo Switch commercials), it’s to show that we’re now watching a different Jason (different dimension). There was a point in this episode where it showed what appeared to be OG Jason in the box in superposition and then it made the click and showed him outside the box out and about, but it wasnt Jay (Jason2), it showed what might have been Jason 3. Kinda hard to explain and kinda high so I’ll come back and edit my comment after my rewatch 😂

I loved the details of this episode, especially “The Spire” a skyscraper that was proposed and never built, with a giant hole left at the current site in Streeterville by Chicago river.

Does anyone noticed, when jason & amanda came out of the box on episode 8, they walk past bunch of kids wearing yellow jackets then they brought some hot chocolate, you can clearly see that the jason doesn't have a scar on his nose until jason and amanda meet on that restaurant then he has that scar

I’m not sure if someone already mentioned this but the Jason who called Daniela from outside the house has a cut on his nose (but no finger brace), and the Jason you see right after that who looks at the mask has no cut on his nose. It’s possible that there are 4 Jasons, OR the Jason with the cut on his nose is our original Jason (because Jaye gave him that cut at the start), and we’ve been looking at the adventures of a 3rd Jason for a few episodes 🤷🏾‍♂️

I ain’t even think about it being three Jason’s now wow wtf !!!

I read the book and like the changes they have made so far.

The same thing happened with the lady a few episodes back where she has video of another one of her coming through the door bringing those big wasps. Also one of the posters for the show has hundreds of Jasons with Daniela I believe we’re in for a ride lol

Yeah, because many Jasons came back, but each one of them is a little different, because they made different choices.

WE'VE BEEN SIMULTANEOUSLY FOLLOWING TWO JASON1S AND TWO JASON2S: I was rewatching some of the episodes (jumping around really) ahead of episode 8 being released. What I discovered is that we have been following two Jason1s and two Jason2s simultaneously with their stories overlapping. The giveaway lies in the small details in terms of the layout and decor of their homes -the brownstone. It's practically pointed out to us in the first episode when Jason2 is having trouble making coffee. If you pay attention to the coffee pot's location you'll see that half of the time it's immediately to the right of the fridge and the other half of the time it's to the left of the blender which is left of the sink. Also, the pictures on the walls near the bottom of the stairs change as well depending on which home we're in at the time.

what i strange find is that they walk in the mutiverse and choose a door.but it doesn,t matter wich door you choose so why take just the next one.

Still tryna figure out why the boxes all look like they’re in different places if it’s always at the same geographic coordinates. It’s been out to sea, on the coast, in the woods, on the street, even in the middle of a busy freeway. How would those Jasons physically be able to build those boxes in such strange locations and why does no one in those worlds seem to know they’re there….??

Nice question, No idea though. Maybe once the Main Jason built the box, it automatically emerged in every universe at the same coordinates. It has to, that's why it was made to travel to different universes, that's what I think. 😊

@@riCocam1991 actually, you may be on to something! Maybe once one Jason built the box it ‘appeared’ in all worlds (?) Jason isn’t a scientist in all worlds, after all. But it still wouldn’t explain why boxes show up in random, sometimes inaccessible locations if the coordinates are supposed to be constant in every world. Our two Jasons have boxes in exactly the same place - it’s just that the abandoned warehouse in one word is the Velocity labs in the other. But all the other random locations….? Hmmm 🤔

@@mrdynamitehee hhaah. Well lmao too much to think. I think the city was planned differently in every other world but the coordinates are constant. But the scene where the box was on the water, that is something unexplainable indeed. A more simple explanation would be that it was written by a man and human makes mistakes.

The show uses Jason2 for the usurper so why not follow it 🤷‍♀️

Narrator does not obviously live in Chicago because we have always needed a permit!

I a sense, there could also be a jason collecting technological knowlegde from each world he visits. Like the futuristic world (where Ryan was dropped f.e), the cold fusion world where Amande stayed...etc. One guy trying to gather all knowlegde. That would be a cool journey to follow.

Omg! I just spent so much time wondering why either Jason’s had a cast on his finger. I thought Jay may have injured his finger while breaking down the wall to the box, or he may have gotten into an off screen fight, but I never thought there’s a 3rd Jason. Thanks 😊

I didn’t realize it was a third Jason! I just thought Jay came in wanting a weapon too for some reason, and I was so confused as to why he’d want one. Hopefully we get some answers next episode 👊🏻

We have been seeing how the box affects space. We also got a hint/foreshadowing at how the box affected time in Episode 4 when they watched Amanda got shot. I think in the near future, we will see the choice that separated broke finger good jason from other good jason.

This is why I depend on you for breakdowns. I had no idea that was another Jason…..

I’m wondering if after the 2 Jasons defeat Jay, original Jay will end up leaving for utopia Chicago to be with Amanda

Hmmm, was thinking, Amanda2 and Ryan1 may meet in Utopia Chicago. They may learn how to navigate the box and show up in Chicago1 “just in the nick of time” to help Jason1 who may be in a tight spot while confronting Jason2.

Rule in the multiple universe where where is unlimited versions of anything...it is only logical that many versions of Jasons will end up in his original world... I am surprised that there are not more

I do want to know what they've been using for currency in these different universes. It can't be cash. You would think there would he some variance with the bills. Maybe credit cards, but with some Jason's and Amanda's having different jobs, they may not even have the same credit cards. I know the show doesn't want you to overthink it, but I do question it.

probably casch. he said in a episode you cant rob a bank in one universe and use that casch in another beacuse of the serial numbers and it would count as counterfeit but you cant really get caught if you only use small bills in resturants and stuff. a cashier would not be able to tell. its only if you would use alot of money to invest that the irs would see its counterfeit?

There's a 4th Jason that did what the 2nd Jason did(whom created his own box) , that put Jason 3 on the same path as Jason 1, but he ended up with the damaged finger which caused the 20 sec gap..which would mean that Jason 3 is in the wrong world.. 🧐

It think Jason 3 is the Jason from the world where Amanda was shot… because they were just about to enter the box.. but then Amanda was killed..leaving “that Jason to travel alone” and also trying to get home.

I just found out the 2nd Jason was actually Jason 6 that went into the gun store after Jason 1 left 20 secs time difference. The narcissist Jason 2 didn't have the finger brace that Jason 6 had. Apparently, if you have the audio description turned on, it would tell you which Jason # it is and that's how Jason 6 was referred to during the gun store clip.

Since space and time are related Im assuming that you can travel not only across worlds in the same space but also across time in that space using the box

My theory in its simplicity is that Jason 2 (for us J2, imo he's actually J1) must have tried more than one times to find a reality that "works" for him (of course it's impossible cause all we are is our experiences) creating thus, more than one wandering Jason 1. The best thing of this show is Jason, a very well made tragic character. Tv (and Cinema) missing good tragic characters recently, but this year we had at least three.

Is their a reson the box shows up on the north side vs south side of Chicago?

In the beginning of the show he puts on a string on his finger so it keeps the imprint of his wedding ring did jason 2 or 3 both have this or only one jason? Also, since they both had the same clothes maybe with this jason amanda ran back to him in time and their both in this world. SO a jason and Amanda version and a jason version where Amanda stayed in the perfect world and the evil jason. OMG i just realized the amanda that went missing 2 weeks ago could mean that this could mean this could be true wtf

Jbuck Studios watched it in some kind of subtitles, but it wasn’t regular close caption. I think it may have been subtitles for the blind. But he said that it read Jason 6 was the second Jason in the store with the bandage on his finger

THE SIX JASONS: "JASON" AKA "JASON1" - The original Jason from episode 1 who gets abducted from his world "JASON2" - The Jason from episode 1 who built the box and abducted Jason1 to switch lives with him "JASON3" - Is caught trying to escape by Leighton2 & Dawn2 (who kills Amanda2) in episode 4. "JASON4" - Is watched by Jason1 through the window as he dances with Daniela6 in episode 5. "JASON5" - Is asleep in bed next to Daniela8 when Jason1 quietly enters their bedroom "JASON6" - Enters the gun store just moments after Jason1 leaves and is near identical to Jason1 in appearance (same cuts, same "wedding band", same clothes and backpack) except Jason6 has a splint on his left pinkie. There you go. That's all of them for now. Every time we meet another version of a character we've already been introduced to the show (through the AD or "audio description" track) sequentially numbers them. Typically the original character is addressed by just their name with each following character having their numeric sequence added starting at 2 then 3, 4, 5 and so forth. Keeping that in mind that means (I believe) there are 8 Danielas, 4 Amandas, 3 Leightons, 3 Ryans, 3 Blairs, 2 Charlies, 2 Dawns, and 1 Max.

The first moment that had me thinking was when Jason was waiting at the front door, listening to the chatter inside. At this point I was pretty sure it was our Jason#1 due to the backpack. But after that we get the snap sound and we still have a backpack Jason this time going to the backyard and listening at the back door instead of the front door. I’m pretty sure that we have three Jayson at the time of this scene, the bad Jason talking about Ryan being back, one « backpack » Jason listening at the front door and the second « backpack » Jason listening at the back door. And just after that they both go the guns store. Was not ready for that third Jason thing. 😮

The Jason listening to the chatter at the front door is Jason2 just contemplating life just after sorting the Ryan issue (take note of the clothes), then it cuts away to Jason1 prepping in the box. Jason1 arrives at the back door just as Jason2 is done and decides to go in. He's not seen because Jason2 in that space between the inner and outer door.

I wonder and go with the theory that Jason #1 BECOMES Jason #2. Then essentially steals his life, from himself, in an infinite loop. They are actually the same Jason. I’m sure others have wondered this. I know it’s paradox, but it’s Science Fiction and the game “Bioshock Infinite” did something similar.

Maybe the Jason with the broken finger is the guy that left Amanda instead of Amanda leaving Jason. So he had more ampules not like Jason 1 who was down to 1 and had to make it count. I just think we are in for a rollercoaster next episode on which Jason is the one we have been following this whole season. Question I have is if there are more versions of Jason 1 coming. Then shouldn’t there be more versions of jason 2? Is that why jason 2 setup the camera to catch other versions of evil Jaye and not family man Jason? I guess it would get to complex with too many variants as a story (thinking loki) and we only have 45mins an episode.

I think the 3rd Jason is the one that was from the universe we briefly saw where Amanda was killed. That Jason somehow made it out and the result is having the brace on his finger. That's my theory at least.

What are the odds that the Jason you're referring to would be wearing the exact same clothes gifted to Jason1 by Amanda while they were in the Eutopian world? That Jason's Amanda died and so it would be very unlikely for him to have made it to that world in the first place. What I think we're seeing here is a Jason that split off from the original Jason at some *recent* point in their journey (most likely while in the Eutopian Word which would explain the same clothes) due to a different choice made by him. It's mentioned at some point in the series (I think by Jason1 when he's explaining the box concept to Daniela from Jason2's world) that different choices lead to branching off of realities.

I think i know where the new jason might be from. Remember there is always a reality where something else happens? There was one where he didn't escape? Well what if that other jason is is evil jason still, but from the first episode when Jason 1 fought back? but in that reality, he succeeded in fighting back, and forced the evil jason to go back into the box? Then that evil jason was trying to again get back to that reality where he has a family? Very good show to make you think.

Damn, visit a planet with cold fusion and no attempt to try to get a hold of that tech? There has got to be a few new scientific theories out there or some wiki articles to copy.

Read the book bro. It adds to the enjoyment of the show

Especially since the show follows the book pretty closely but also adds some new elements like pretty much most of what Jason2 is doing in Jason1's world or the fate of Jason2's colleagues and pretty much all interactions with Ryan

You forgot one thing within the episode. Halfway through, after jay brings back ryan he goes back to the home only to hear laughter and piano playing right before he enters and thus stops opening the door. My belief is that because the box is influenced by the way a person feels, he still wants to go back home to main Jasons world but accidentally goes to ANOTHER VERSION of the same world (one where another version of Jay exists) because he now has mixed feelings about whats happening there (the psychiatrist even mentions that his existence is just escapism). If this section is true (and given the shows running narrative of a grain within a desert), my belief is that its very likely that Jason still didn't find his original world but a copy where a copy of Jay (not the original) also exists, it brings up the question though of when does the split happen for Jay, similar to where the split happens for Jason. If we ARE dealing with two (probably more at this point) jays, whats there to stop Jason 1 & 2 from encountering more versions of themselves, likewise to how Jay most likely has encountered another version of himself?

The 3rd Jason has same jacket so… OG started to wear that jacket after the dinner/dance with Amanda. So we know J3 was created after this. He decided to visit his house, finding Daniela and local Jason. Maybe it’s this moment J3 was created.

I think Jason 2 at some point left Jasons 1’s world for screwing up too much as he keeps confessing this urge in his therapy session. Jason 2 then displaced a 3rd Jason and took over his life. Thus Jason 1 & 3 are now looking for their world and Jason 1 is not really back to his world but is in Jason 3s’s og world

could be all his decision making in all the alternate universes or the box, that caused a split. It would still be interesting to see how the show makes it believable. I would hate see some half cooked multiverse reason for plot continuity

What you missed is when Jason called him Charlie, Max said "No, it's your OTHER son." He wouldn't reply that way if Charlie doesn't exist.

This event is similar to them returning to Jason's multiverse where they failed to escape and got killed. This could mean that two Jasons will die and the main Jason will survive.

I watched with captions on and I think they called him Jason 6 leaves the store? Correct me if I wrong

4:49 - I thought this shot was not about Jason, but just about new "Jason 2", because there's a sound effect switch playing, and the character's hands are not shown, then the sound switch again and back to Jason again

How did they buy things and pay for things in the other universes ?

i think the best explanation is the third Jason - aka the second Jason go to the gun store (with finger brace) is Jason 1 (the original Jason) but in different version. Since now i will call him "Jason1+". As we know the reality behind a door is another version of the world if the opener make a different choice in one point of their life. So, Jason2 ( the evil J and the only J can created the box) is actually the first J who ever exist. He created Jason1 (who chose to stay with Daniela instead of chose his career). In the process of finding the way home after been kidnaped as we know, Jason 1 created Jason1+ by made a different choice at some point. The question is, when? Okay, so first, i will explain why i think Jason3 is Jason1+. Because they wear the exact same clothes, and he had a cut on his nose which suggest that he got beatten by Jason2 same as Jason1. The only detail that separate them is the finger brace. And you can see his attitude when he had the conversation with the lady in the gun store too. The same polite, shyness of Jason 1 (opposite with the personality of J2). I read a comment suggest at 36:53 of the Ep6 we get a click to a different pov, but then the same J1 and Amanda1 walk into a motel. After watched it again more closely, i think the twist start from here too. Just before the click, Amanda said to J1 while they sit at the front door of the box: "Not your world? soon we'll out of ampules". I think J1 and A1 might had some ideas about how to get more ampules at this point and increase Jason1 chance to find the right door to his world, and the scene had been hiding from the viewer. They probably accidentally created the Jason1+ in the process, or created him by intention (because double Jason, double ampules, why not?) I also notice after J get back to the motel soaked in the rain after sneaked out another Jason's window, Amanda was scare that J left her. Then he said "im sorry. i promise, i will never leave you". That the line kept me thinking he is Jason1+, the whole time at Ep6 after the click at 36:53. The Jason1 we know at this point may go inside the box again with A1 already, then leave her when she decided to stay at the Utopia Chicago. But Jason1+ might never leave this Amanda2, after the argument, Amanda said "i'm not asking you to give up hope, all im saying is we need to try something different", this couple might find their own way too. but anyway, it's just my theory, cant wait to this wednesday :v

If you use the audio speech option on your tv, it calls the 3rd Jason “Jason 6”, so let that sink in…

Yes but earlier on in the bedroom AD described Jason 5 as laying in bed with Jason looking on. So you would have to go back and count the Jasons but I am guessing this might be the first time we have seen Jason 6 due to the continuation in the numbering in this episode.

@@Pesthauch666yeah I was thinking the same thing. Also Joel did an interview before it came out talking about fighting multiple versions of himself, that was the headline of the video, I hadn’t read the book yet at that point so it stuck with me…
