@@thesupasoka1133 lol doesn't matter how mechanical you are. You have to build game sense around those mechanics to know when to use them and why. Anyone who says mechanical players aren't smart is just being salty. He's building up his speed to a crazy level and will soon get so consistent at it, no one can match him unless they start doing the same. But at that point they will be years behind. Stop playing checkers and start playing chess and this 15 year old kid is already a GM.

You mean the unexpected power? Happens when u pivot and rotate car while cupping the ball initiated by side flipping into the ball. It's great to show off but no one can read it if it happens but i use it to snipe open nets lower to ground so it don't hit backboard as often as it does. Usually just pop up and curve under and pivot so my flip will cup the ball at the right window and launch it.

Ngl felt like I was watching tas plugin in ssl ranked 1v1. The chain dashes on the side walls and zap dashes were going crazy but the amount of times he was spamming ball cam gave me a little bit of a headache but i mean dark he's goated on the sticks fr fr.

Hes very entertaining to watch but struggles when the game is slowed down. If he sets the pace and keeps possession its a no brainer but Dark has missed a few slow sitters and his aggressive playstyle does let him down overall. Hes insane but flawed. Not taking nothing away from him as the guy has got some of the best mechanics and recoveries we will ever see in this game but overall in terms of the most rounded player i cant put him up there. I love my rocket league and all pro players are entertaining in their own right and Dark is probably the fastest or one of the fastest and most mechanically gifted.

⁠​⁠@@loganeliottt762I don’t think so, players have pushed the boundaries in pretty much any game, things that people thought impossible were made possible by someone who tried and failed many times and eventually did it. Throughout the years the skill gap in RL continued to grow, players like Scrub, jstn, firstkiller, zen and many more have revolutionized the game, it’s only a matter of time before Dark gets credit for his grind. I just hope he doesn’t end up like Daniel who was very promising and couldn’t perform well in RLCS

Lol I thought I only played like this I don’t with teammates I’ll play as a team but sometimes I try goin slower than when I sometimes be loosing I’ll go offense and play like this but my speed always start overwhelming them and they can’t keep up or stop me it really doesn’t be if I’m losing it’s if they got really good defense and I be trying to slow down but this how I get past their defense I be like let’s see how fast u can keep up and if he fast enough to save everything

his mechs are incredible and his decision making is also way above average. but what people are saying is some of the goals that hes letting thru on defense are quite easily avoidable for someone of his insane skill. we all mess up. it happens every game. but when dark messes up it seems intentional and he looks confident which is just confusing to most because dark is still making some decisions that a plat player would make while being one of the best players in the world. i personally think his offense is substantially better than his defense which is why so many of his games are super high scoring.

You have to do the motion of a speedflip (Cancelling a diagonal flip with a down fast input) Now that your car is free and has stored spring from the flip cancel, you have to land with your two frontal wheels first (so you tap a bit to lower your nose) then after the contact, you do a empty jump, (hel jump) the car will pop a wheelie, from there you press forward and jump to do a wavedash. The whole motion is called Zap dash because Azapatos was the first one to use it consistently in games

I don’t get how he barely raises his front wheels to dash forward lol. I can’t get mine to do that 🤷🏻‍♂️
