@@halaz._.lifestylezz No, it is because Dr. Luke, Max Martin and Cirkut made the instrumental/produced the song. The finished instrumental was later sent to Katy so that she can write lyrics over the instrumental. Katy's career is dead now that Dr. Luke doesn't make her instrumentals anymore, Dr. Luke's recent hit is "Say So" by Doja Cat but he also made "Tik Tok" for Ke$ha and "Girlfriend" for Avril Lavigne and many other hit songs by Katy, Britney, Rihanna, P!nk etc...

"Never Worn White" peaked at #12 on the Bubbling Under. "Daisies" peaked at #40 on the Hot 100. "Smile" peaked at #21 on the Bubbling Under. Only TWO songs cracked the Top 40. If I were the CEO of a record label, I too would toss Katy aside and instead promote other artists who are performing much better in a commercial aspect. Record labels don't play around; promoting an artist can easily reach millions of dollars, would you waste your money on promoting a garbage product that no one will consume? Even Halsey is bigger than Katy at the current moment which is why Capital promotes her[Halsey] more now. Katy's last #1 song was "Dark Horse" which was co-produced by Dr. Luke; It is quite obvious the producer is what makes a hit song. If the production isn't good, then why bother listening to garbage. Only 1 Katy Perry song that reached #1 was not produced by Dr. Luke and it was "Firework."
