They said was that Nils was taking time off due to personal matters and that the current drummer will be his replacement until further notice. They did not, however, say that he left the band permanently, so he might just be gone this tour as far as we know.

Well, they didn't play the song at album tempo though. But it wasn't as fast as the first guy said at least.

Seen them 2 nights ago in detroit, they fuckin crushed!!!

Yikes! This dude sounds great on the last DF record, but live... that shit is pretty rough! Sound guy needs to bring that vocal mic down! He's drowning out the guitars, but at least you can hear the snare for once. So can't complain too much haha. The best DF show I ever saw was back in like 2001 for Diabolis Interium when they toured with Cannibal and played at The Palace... some of you old school LA guys know the show! Then again maybe it was the best show, because it was the first time they got to play a full set in LA? Every other SoCal appearance before that was a total shitshow... and not the band's fault. Glad I didn't sit in traffic for 2 hours for this.

Seems like the vocalist wasnt preoperly warmed up for the start of the show, his vocals got alot better from the halfway point and onwards. You can also clearly see he's used to playing with a guitar aswell as singing from his other band Gra, not much stage presence and mostly just stands there, works for Ghaal but not here Id say. As for the drummer, well. I hope we get Dominator back.

Who remembers Dark Funeral be posting about how Wendy's baconator and Mexican food are the breakfast of champions?

They never said he left the band as far as I know. They only said that he's taking some time off due to personal reasons, so I don't know why everybody is assuming that it's permanent. It might just be for this tour or something.

Magus really lost his voice during the latter years though, but he really was amazing during his prime. I personally wish Nachtgarm was still in the band now tbh. Dominator might come back though at some point, they only said that he took a timeout to handle some personal matters and that the new drummer would replace him until further notice. Not that it was permanent.
