He had a solid plan to take a unique Warp energy source, use it to claim Daemonhood, and but for Captain Titus' intervention nearly got away with it and destroy Graia in the process. Lord Araghast would had top spot if Eliphas had not successfully betrayed him - on top of having personality, he is actually quite competent both in strategy and in combat, to say nothing of his 'burnt a thousand worlds' record.

Seems normal to me, since there were HD consoles already in 2006, getting videos to 720 seems like an easier task

"By the hands even" The hands of what...and what you seem to be misunderstanding is that the game is always weighted towards the player. And when it boils down to it, if you have a strong defensive/offensive strategy, you will defeat against any foe.

It's amazing how all of the different factions give these mighty speeches just before the mission where they are eliminated from the game.

Its really cute how they tried to make it undivided, but its always been about Khorne, no one can disagree with that. I don't even remember ever hearing anything about Slaanesh in this until just now. No idea why any Sorcerer has ever been keen on getting their blood god on. I forget were there any Nurgle units in DOW 1, or its expansions?

When Chaos Undivided conducts a military operation, Tzeentch handles the planning, Nurgle handles the supplies, Slaanesh handles the communications, and Khorne sends in the actual boots on the ground, apparently.

Well, Horrors and Chaos Sorcerers are both presumably Tzeentchian - so it isn't entirely a Khornate show. Perhaps the cultists are from cults of all four Powers?

During Eliphas’ crusade on Kronus, Eliphas was given ample opportunities to gain favour with the Ruinous Powers and other Chaos figures through the defeat of his enemies. • He can gain Khorne’s favour by offering him the skull of Lord Crull, a Champion of the Blood God slain by the Ork Warboss Gorgutz on the winter world of Lorn V. • He can gain the favour of Slaanesh by cracking open all the Aeldari Spirit Stones left behind when the Aeldari fled Tyrea, and offering the souls within to the Prince of Pleasure. • The favour of Nurgle can be gained by freeing the Plague Daemon imprisoned within the Hellstorm Cannon in Victory Bay, using the rotting corpses of the Imperial Guardsmen as sacrifice. • The favour of Tzeentch can be gained by defeating the Necron army beneath the Thur'Abis plateau. • Warmaster Abaddon the Despoiler, leader of the Black Legion Chaos Marines, can be pleased by defeating the Blood Ravens Space Marines in North Vandea, although it is unknown why the defeat of a Chapter whose history is unknown would be especially pleasing to Abaddon. • The Word Bearers' Daemon Primarch Lorgar can be pleased by defeating the T'au forces in Or'es Tash'n, for Lorgar is said to hate the irreligious above all others.

I think Kyras was being very opportunistic. He basically served for Nurgle in Chaos Rising until Retribution where he sacrificed the worlds of Aurelia for Khorne.

Eliphas and Gorgutz my favorite heroes.

@ChaosMarine1204 Yeah that's the primary one which you have to do, but I also completed a secondary objective where you had to destroy a chaos base to free a few of your troops on the left hand side of the map. I was wondering if there were any more objectives that I may have missed

Relic has confirmed that Eliphas is returning under the Black Legion's banner this time, he is no longer a Word Bearer. Most likely because he failed here.

@fman40000 The furthest back I can find on Eliphas is him fighting against the emperor in the Horus Heresy. He could have been raised to a marine AFTER Lorgar had secretly worshiped Chaos, meaning he may have been evil from the start. And I really doubt Eliphas will turn in DoW2, but i haven't beaten the campaign yet, so who knows.

Yeah, and the Necrons who win pretty much every battle they fight in were beaten, in the lore a small Necron strike force could kill an entire army. They even have a weapon the size of a planet.

As a Word Bearers collecter myself, I actually have a Chaos Lord (Not a terminator lord) called Eliphas. He is my pride and joy.

All of dark crusade's stronghold assault are so much better than SS

It is really easy. All you got to do with the Blood Ravens is use the Assault Marines to get near the Blood Star that cause the shockwave. Get that out the way, and the rest is all easy.

Hmm, I used the Rhino transport tank for my Space Marine squads to pass because the shockwave doesn't affect vehicles

I wouldn't say play either, but im very sure that they do lend power.

@boredsurfin06 Just because Crull was a World Eater didn't mean that he needed a voice that was too hammy to take him seriously. I mean they could have gotten someone to voice him that's actually threatening when yelling, but still, Kratos' VA couldn't sound threatening saying some of the stuff Crull does.

Fight against the chaos in their stronghold with the necrons . After this cut scence , the inheritor will have a nice mind to mind chat with the necron lord.....

They did it wrong from the beginning. Rituals don't please Khorn that much, these dudes should have been concentrated on pure fighting, if they wanted Khorn's blessing. On the other hand, these are Word Bearers, what can you expect from them?

It's comming from their origin : they were children of nobles back on Terra that were given to the Emperor to become Space Marines. But I guess they kept their name to spite Him ! x)

Horus's legion had their name changed twice (From Lunar Wolves to Sons of Horus and finally the Black Legion.) So I don't see why they don't. Children of Excess seems like a fitting title.

I love chaos personally both on the game and the whole idealoligy of chaos itself. But yeah about the earlier comment its really a shame they did'nt include the other chaos gods. khorne pisses you off after a while. i think the "great unclean one" would wipe the floor the bloodthirster

Don't ask me, ask relic. they're the ones that confirmed that Eliphas is returning under the black legion flag. Though they didn't confirm how or why.

Khorne just wants his followers to shed blood in his name, Tzeentch wants constant change so any nation built won't last, Nurgle just wants his children to spread plagues, diseases, death and destruction in the mortal realm while Slaanesh wants his followers to enjoy life in excess and pleasure. They don't really want to win, as you've figured :P.

One of the legions of chaos is named "emperor´s children", because all legions fought for the emperor first. Later the half of the Space Marines betrayed him. Later.

That one Legion could have made all the difference in the Heresy, but they too became pawns of Chaos... like you.

These Chaos Marines are tough, and so is there level. It gets easy once ya know how to beat it.

Khorne Worships get fighting skills and rage, Tzeentch Worshippers get unholy powers and incredible awesomeness, Nurgle worshipers get alot of excess body-fat, whic defends them from harm...and Slaneesh worshippers get layed. Thats Chaos for you :P
