Dark Age Remains Uncovered In An Englishman's Garden | Time Team | Timeline
The Time Team turn their attention to Much Wenlock, Shropshire. Over their allotted three days, they reveal in present-day gardens and, in the kitchen of one family, fascinating evidence about the early development of a medieval town and an important aspect of England's past.

All I could glean from the info shown above was that this vid was posted in 2019...then I saw all our friends were MUCH, MUCH younger. Finally found that it was actually filmed in 1994! Thanks to whoever posted that because I was about to write to the 'Team to find out who their plastic surgeons were!

Notice the sharp edged cars , typical 1980s, which would still have been around in the early 1990s.

Wow! This was 26 years ago already. Time flies! Doesnt seem that long ago.
The name of that creek, though! Don't head up that without your paddle! Gotta love it! I believe that there is a "Piddle River" as well... Damn, but the medieval real estate agents had their work cut out for them!
I love how they are basically fangirling over a wooden beam and stone arches!
Younger Tony! Yay! I've been missing these and I love Tony. He brings one of my fave subjects to life. History! Thankyou😍🤘🇬🇧
This whole program is so pleasant. It's a witness of a culture, it's architecture, values, attitudes, well worth protecting and preserving. Beware or it will soon be overrun, as countless others have been throughout history. It will take open eyes and a firm stand. Do it for posterity. Let them enjoy what you have been gifted with.

Sad I wasn’t able to experience these as they came out before but grateful to see them now
It's nice to see these old episodes and see how it all started out. Then to see one of the last episodes and see how much it evolved.
Tony doing his Harry Potter look.
They are so young-1994! The geophys machine was as big as a backhoe. Love that folks can write in and ask about what they found in their back garden.
AH! More Time Team! I love that show!
Love the young Phil, good looking guy!
A Yank with British roots, I really enjoy this show!
This video blows my mind, first season of TT, but the show is finally hitting it's more fluid pace that we all came to know and love. More polished, better pacing to keep energy in viewer interest involved. Transitional.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. I believe it to be the oldest (chronologicaly) of all the episodes I've watched.
I think the sophistication of any civilization can be measured by how much they value their gardens, large or small.

Its nice to see that Phil’s hair has always been outrageous! Tony Robinson actually has hair, too! As an aside, one never properly says “Over and out.” “Over” means there is more to come, while “Out” means there is nothing following, so one has to pick one or the other.
