Tiger Hill is the highest point in Darjeeling hills at an altitude of 8482 feet (or 2590 meters) and once you are at Tiger Hill, the view of the sunrise from atop makes the whole thing worthwhile as it casts a golden glow over the Himalayan peaks.
This popular destination is known for a picturesque sunrise experience, and of course the panoramic view of Mount Kanchenjunga.
At 2590 mts, Tiger Hill is the highest point in Darjeeling. The spot is famous for the breathtaking view of mighty Himalayas including the Kanchenjunga peak. A permit is required to visit Tiger Hills as there has been a restriction on the number of jeeps that can travel to this spot.
The drive from Darjeeling to Tiger Hill will take approximately 40-45 minutes. If you are visiting to see the sunrise, it is best if you pre-book a taxi from your hotel. Besides this, you can also visit Tiger Hill via shared jeep. These run from the club side stand in Darjeeling.

Peace Pagoda, Darjeeling or Darjeeling Peace Pagoda is one of the Peace Pagodas designed to provide a focus for people of all races and creeds to help unite them in their search for world peace. It is located in the town of Darjeeling in the Indian state of West Bengal. Like most of the other Peace Pagodas, it was built under the guidance of Nichidatsu Fujii (1885-1985), a Buddhist monk from Japan and founder of the Nipponzan-Myōhōji Buddhist Order.
The foundation stone of the pagoda was laid on 3 November 1972 by Nichidatsu Fujii, and was inaugurated on 1 November 1992. The pagoda was designed by M. Ohka, and it took 36 months to construct. It houses the four avatars of Buddha including Maitreya Buddha. The height of the pagoda is 28.5 metres (94 ft) and diameter is 23 metres (75 ft).The Pagoda is situated on the slopes of the Jalapahar hills, in the town of Darjeeling.

The Darjeeling Ropeway is a ropeway in the town of Darjeeling in the Indian state of West Bengal. The 5 km long ropeway( i.e. 2.5 km each way) is a tourist destination in the town. It consists of sixteen cars and plies between the "North Point" in the town of Darjeeling and Singla on the banks of the Ramman river. The journey on the ropeway offers views of the hills and the valleys around Darjeeling.
The ropeway, which was started in 1968 and revamped in 1998, was stopped in October 2003 after four tourists died. The ropeway was reopened on 2 February 2012.

The Mahakal Temple or Mahakal Mandir (Nepali: महाकाल मन्दिर. Translation: The master of Kaal[time]) is a sacred Hindu temple located in Darjeeling, West Bengal, India, dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva, the third god in the Hindu triumvirate. The temple was built in 1782 by Lama Dorjey Rinzing and is perched atop the Observatory Hill and is an amalgamation of Hindu and Buddhist religions. It is a religious site where both religions coexist harmoniously.
