My daughter is 29, very independent and getting married soon. This song always makes me cry. A few years ago she took her dad and I to see Darius. We all love his music. Thanks for reacting to this song!

I knew this song already. I hesitated to watch this because I knew I would cry. Yup. I'm a dad of two teenage daughters. One just left for college. I mourn their childhood days, the sweetness, the innocence. I'm a mess now.

Was my father daughter dance at my we5. We sobbed through the whole song 💗. Very special memory.

You've reacted to several songs that, as a father of a daughter, I struggle to listen to without getting emotional. Never had that reaction to ANY songs before she was born. I saw below where somebody recommended "You're Gonna Miss This" by Trace Adkins. I don't know if you've reacted to that song yet but just be prepared for the same tearful reactions.

My daughter and I almost cry every time we hear this song. Next year she graduates, everything he says is the truth! So make sure you enjoy every minute of every day! I think you guys will do great! Thanks!!!!

I understand how you feel and congratulations!!!

It is scary being a new parent. But is damn sure worth it. Once they are there you wonder what you'd do with out them. Children bring me such joy. I am a great grandfather now and it still effects me like that with them. I love them so much.

When my husband first heard this song he said I can relate.. Our oldest daughter graduated this year and started college this year.. we only live about 45 minutes away.. we try to go visit her every 2 weeks but sometimes she is so busy it doesn't happen.. when we do see her and leave dad starts to tear up as she walks to her dorm.. doesn't fail, every single time.. it makes me love him more and more.. I'm not looking forward to when she gets married cause he is going to loss his s***.. LOL

Prior to "going country" Darius Rucker appeared as a cowboy in a Burger King commercial. About 90% of tv viewers had no clue it was him, roughly the same people that didn't know "Hootie" was a black guy.

Darius Rucker and Chris Stapleton are my favorite country singers.

The original versions on KZread are great and she is young and beautiful but the versions you can find when she is older have more power. Which ever you choose, you won't go wrong.
