I love Darius! His voice is great. Honesty is always the best policy. If someone can’t handle your truth, it’s better to know it upfront.❤️🤗🐝

I love your reactions!! He was Hootie from Hootie and the blow fish! My husband and I met on a blind date and got married 10 weeks later.(no I wasn’t pregnant ). He passed away 2 weeks before our 40th Anniversary; and that was 11 years ago. Miss him every day!

Darius grew up in South Carolina listening to all kinds of music. He formed a band in the 90s with college buddies which became hugely successful and after they broke up he decided he wanted to tap into his country roots but wasn't sure how the country music community would accept him and if those that knew him as Hootie would like his style of country music. Well, as a fellow Gen X'er who also grew up listening to all kinds of music and can readily alternate listening to rock, pop, country, classical, R&B, Latin, and oldies, I was excited to hear Darius sing country songs for the first time. I love how country music tells stories that are relatable to the common man and as I get older I find myself turning to country music more than the other genres that I still love. I was just hoping that he would be successful and that he'd release songs that would fit into the 90s style of country music and not the latest "Bro Country" fad which has little lasting value. Well, not only did he release great music but his songs are a perfect blend of who he is and what he wants to say. His voice lends itself well to the genre and he surrounds himself with great musicians. My favorite of his songs are It Won't Be Like This For Long, If I Yold You, So I Sang, and Come Back Song.

Yeah Darius is a perfect example of black folks growing up in the south and then truly embracing that. The sadness and horror of southern history is so far away now. You'd have to truly be a zealot to fight about it nowadays. I wish more black people would embrace the southern culture and fine their success! Look at Kane Brown.

We've all messed up and failed at one thing or another. If someone is going to put all of them self out there, then who am I to cast the first stone. I'm going to stay and see where the relationship can go.

Greg I've been watching for a long time. My friend, if I was on a date and heard someone pouring out their soul to me talking about what they've been through, and taking the chance on me, it would depend. If she was absolutely amazing, I would honestly feel honored she'd share such things with me. If she was ehh.. yeah I might stay to offer my condolences and care that I can, and then move on.

You can't rescue them, they are telling you because they are giving you the choice. I have PTSD from 2 very abusive relationships, I'm straight up honest about that, not everyone can handle it. I'm upfront because for so many years I couldn't find someone that could but when they saw the first flashback or witness a nightmare they left. I spent 20 years single

Dude it is so much going to depend on what they're saying. It's going to depend on who they're saying it to. There are things in people's lives that don't mean that much to us therefore we can deal with it then there are things that are huge and we can't deal with it.

Yes I would have stayed. But my choice in men always end badly. So after my 2nd divorce I never have had another in my life. That was many years ago.
