Wow..wow. Those are little nuances that make her so great. The way she caresses the puppet while she is responding to a serious question. She makes you forget it was a puppet she was holding; she was still in the act as she was addressing the questions with seriousness. That little girl has so much fortune coming her way. Simply incredible!

this Girl is a genius in her own special way.

And just like she stated in this video, she WON America's Got Talent AND as a bonus, performed on stage with Terry Fator a year and a half after this video was shot! WOW!!! 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

Darci, you stick to it, girl. You are going places. Best wishes.

*whimsical* * Yeah...infact she could do that even as she was waiting for the final result of AGT..though she was really nervous she could keep the character Petunia look lively. She could effortlessly keep Petunia looking here and there.. That girl's got a hell of a talent!!!

Indeed. Their reactions, their posture, gestures and way of talking seems so natural to the puppets, and so detached from Darci... 03:55 is a good example. Man this is some rare talent we are watching.

indeed. One things that strikes is how while Darci is fidgeting with one hand, just like how a 11-year old would do when being interviewed on TV, her other hand is controlling Katie and turning its head, nodding, along with the interviewer, just like if it had a mind of its own. Its details like that that makes it amazing.

This is a really cool interview to watch now knowing that she won AGT. First: THe host made a mistake and said she will be performing in Las Vegas, but he corrected himself and said the correct location, Cincinnati. Now, she WILL be performing in Las Vegas for real, late November this year. Also, she says she would love to attempt to win AGT, and we know how that went :)

I love when he says you are going to Vegas and corrects himself but now she has her own headline in Vegas! She's an American sweetheart! Parents must be beyond proud!

She's very mature for her age as she knows how to sidesweep a boring host. She handled herself VERY well regardless lol that's it!

she's the second AGT talent I like to watch every night. The first one was Jackie Evancho and she's the second one: It's the best remedie to go into a healthy sleep when you have laughed a lot before sleeping! Thank you Darci I adore you!

He started like that, because many people lose their childish playfulness throughout life, dealing with "serious" matters and other "grown ups" so it becomes difficult to realize how to talk to innocent, intelligent child that is so talented;...... but he got it later on. He was kind, and nice, and his questions are interesting, and into the point. And we got interesting answers through interesting questions!. It was sweet interview, I enjoyed it. And the girl is beyond wonderful. Whow.

Yes I understand that totally and that's what I said, maybe not clear since didn't state singing though. My view is though is she said to help her of being shy, yet she was already performing since age 6. She is clearly not a person that is shy at all regardless of age so why would she say that :)
