Welcome to our new content. As the Weapon Detective, we investigate modern weapon systems of the Second Cold War. The Weapon Legends is about the older weapon systems. In our videos, we tell their epic stories, which made them a legend. The Weapon Legends investigates these stories, reads between the lines, analyse, and tells the untold. In our videos, you can find technical information, historical backgrounds, what happened during the development processes, combat experience and political projection. Let the wisdom of history show us what the future would be like. Let’s investigate the veteran weapons of the past together.

Excellent video for a war hero. Before I watched, I researched briefly and saw that nobody made a video about the Daphné class. Interesting. I love that this channel does what nobody does.

Love your videos. Great sourcing stock footage and well written VO. Admiral Arne Sunderland (Daphne captain in SA navy) has a great book called Iron Fist from the sea. Mostly dealing with dropping and picking of SA special forces in Angola and Mozambique

I’ve toured the s645 (flore) multiple times, absolutely fantastic boat and really gives perspective on how subs used to be to live and fight in. Certainly not like that now with modern subs such as trident and the new dreadnaught class currently in production. The site it currently resides at in lorrient is also an amazingly impressive spot to visit I’d highly recommend it for anyone. There’s also the Eric tabardly sailing museum next to it for those surface dwellers or targets as they’re known in the sub community which is also a great experience.

If you're deep-diving into submarines now, can we get the german U212 class (plus export variants, future CD upgrade) next?

I played that Pakistani sub mission on command... it was intense, they really survived the Indian ASW coverage by the skin of their teeth 😬

Awesome project with the Landy. Think about stretching the chassis and then you can lengthen the back and have more space under the vehicle for batteries. Just a thought...
