I suffered from infertility tried for so many years to get pregnant. I always prayed to god to please bless me with a child. I was watching a mother play with her son on tik tok one day I cried and screamed to God "God please give me a child!!!!!" that same day something in me told me to take a pregnancy test... it came back positive! I couldnt believe it I was in tears and in shock!I took more pregnancy tests and they all came back positive! A week after I found out I was pregnant I found a cross necklace a few steps away from where I worked at and I then knew it was really God all along and never left my side. I now have a 11 month healthy beautiful baby boy. He's turning 1 in a few days! ❤ God is good!💜Amen🙏🏾

Every time i hear a Dante song I pray for him because I truly hope he comes back to the knowledge of the true Christ because he is extremely gifted… The podcast started off surprisingly well I loved when he spoke about his conversion to Christ at 16, that was so beautiful… but I got confused afterwards… he mentioned he did not have any outside influence from the church when he got saved it was just him and God… so how did he become “religious” or “legalistic” as he put it? It’s interesting that when he got saved he cut out everything and became “too religious” maybe just maybe that’s what happens when you meet with the true and living God… I also got saved at 16 years old and I was on fire, there were places I used to go that I didn’t go anymore, things I used to do that I no longer did, did I become judgemental of those who still did those things? No? But there was clearly a difference between us now. When you come into the light and others remain in darkness, they may feel “judged” because too much light can blind them, sometimes light is offensive to those who love darkness (John 3:19) But overtime my fire became lukewarm, not because Jesus didn’t save me but because I chose not to do the things I did at first (Revelation 2:5) I got “fame” and “success” and got caught up in that lifestyle. Christian’s also used to “judge me” and it hurt my feelings it did, but deep down in my heart I knew they were judging me according to the Bible and what they was saying was TRUE even though my flesh wanted to get angry because I wanted to live how I wanted to live and not be judged for it. It’s only recently that I have woken up from my slumber and given my heart BACK to Jesus, I now have a desire to please Him and NOT the world, I take heed to what my Christian brothers, sisters and leaders tell me now (even if they say it in a mean spirited way) I take the meat and I spit out the bones, because people who LOVE me, tell me the truth, people who hate me let me go on believing lies. 23:18 It’s interesting that Dante Bowe said that he starting praying again but NOT reading the bible, friends, that is DANGEROUS. God is His Word and His Word is God. When you don’t read your Bible along with prayer, you open yourself up to seducing spirits that tell you everything your sinful flesh wants to hear. Jesus didn’t say be cool like him, He said be Holy as I am Holy (1 Peter 1:16). He said if you love me keep my commandments (John 14:15) We show we love Jesus by our actions not by our words. He said love not the world, nor the things of this world (1 John 2:15) I’m not surprised Dante got traumatised by the gospel industry because the gospel industry as we know it today is completely demonic, it’s all about money, fame and notoriety, it’s so anti-Christ it’s sad!!! The music industry is a slippery slope, not many people make it out alive, I’m sure Dante started off with a pure heart wanting to use his gifts for God but he needed to be extra careful!!!!!! “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” Matthew 7:13 Praying for Dante because Jesus still loves him!! 🙏🏾🤍

It’s almost like…the hot topic is still an exposed/unhealed nerve for Dante…and whenever we get close to it…he’s ready to guide us away from it…and he doesn’t owe us anything…but I woulda rather them just talk about the future instead of dancing around the past…

Breeny, thank you for you comment. Watching this podcast, I started to have thoughts suggesting, “Maybe it’s not that deep”, “Maybe I can loosen up a little”.. Child the devil is a LIE!!!! If we’re not careful, we’ll validate living a watered down, lukewarm Christianity off the strength of being “too deep”, and doing too much. Seducing spirits are real! In the last days, MANY will depart from the faith. We have no other choice but to be in the word, and consecrate ourselves. It’s a little discouraging being called to the marketplace though (speaking for myself). You genuinely want to be used for God, yet you can not deny that there will be temptation to conform back to the world and compromise. I feel God getting ready to usher me into my purpose and destiny but Im SCAREDDD CHILD! Im terrified of returning back to my vomit. I struggle with trusting myself with promotion or elevation out of fear of returning back to my old sinful nature. Despite all of this, I believe God is pouring out his spirit on his sons and daughters and we will have a pure heart. This generation need men and women ON FIRE for God; real Christ ambassadors and representatives. Help us Lord to go forth in spirit and in truth. 🙏🏽

I must say, that it frustrates me so much when a child of God falls and instead of the people who claims to be Children of God themselves, shun, talk about, judge, and or distant themselves from the fallen. Where is the Godly love. Where is the " I'M here for you brother, let's talk about it when you're ready, let's pray, and I'm here and praying for you". Then you wonder why so many people stay away from the church. I'm so happy that Dante has done the work and is stepping out in his ministry of music. Thank you, Tim, for giving this space and sharing with and in Dante's love. God bless you both. Being a babe in Christ, this type of love and fellowship is exactly what I needed to see and hear.

As the sister of a strong Christian who won his first Grammy early in his career as a secular artist, what Dante’s saying is so true. It can be traumatic for the artist (and even their family to experience & be targeted alongside) the person being attacked at every angle, including the church, as they’re still learning and navigating the industry. There’s almost no grace because music industry = Babylon to the church. So instead of being Mordecais to the Esthers called into that space, they slander them. Without trusted other strong Christians inside AND outside the industry surrounding them, helping them stay focused on truth despite it all, the calling can get overwhelming. He’s now 3 Grammys and 10+ years in, and the need for that level of community only becomes greater. He doesn’t take the community he has had for granted and he taps into us DAILY, MULTIPLE times a day!! So I’m truly very proud of Dante for the journey he’s chosen to go on 🙏🏾🙏🏾 don’t just pray for these artists who are Christian, but pray for their Christian villages to stand strong around them. We love you, Donte!

I’m sorry sister for what you and your family experienced..but i disagree here. No Christian is called to that space, we’re drawn to that space out of our own desire to be seen by the world.. watching this is a somber reminder that God called us to be separate and without a deep understanding of our identity and call we will lose ourselves. Without accountability we will be led astray. We have propped up and put up our black worshippers on a pedestal they should’ve never been on. The pressure comes from being in a place we weren’t meant to be in. Here he says “I’m just trying to do what Jesus did” well Jesus commanded us to go out into all the world and preach the gospel baptizing them in the name of the father son and Holy Spirit.” Is this what he was doing? Maybe maybe not. But the pressure Dante and MANY others in maverick city are under ..is many times attributed to pride. Worship becomes less about God and more about self. Less about dying to self and glorifying self. I pray worshippers get back to a pure place of worship and that “grace may be multiplied to them in the knowledge of Christ.”

This Pod literally reminds me of ”Voice of God” he was literally writing about being born again years ago. “It's like the sound of a newborn baby crying Like the final breath of a loved one passing… it’s the voice of God and it can make a grown man cry.” It’s him… he’s literally singing about himself in this season of his life…. Man God works in mysterious ways.😌 Also just because someone’s walk with God doesn’t look like yours, it doesn’t give you the right to judge or condemn(John3:17)... it’s at that point that you yourself are walking with judgement not God🧐 I say this out of love ask God to show you( Psalm 139:23-24 )and trust him.. Love to Dante on his walk!

We can be talented but when we lack character it can ruin things. When I was a little girl I remember opening up for my favorite Gospel Artist and after the program they brought me to meet her and she was rude and nasty it completely turned me off and changed me negatively. Praise God I got a chance to meet her many years later and she was completely different and I brought up our first meeting and she shared some things with me that caused me to see the human side of her and I give her and anyone else grace. But we as leaders must be mindful of what we do. I pray you young man will continue to grow and inspire.

This one blessed me. 1. Youth and fame. What was I like at 22? A mess! I can't imagine having that kind of fame and then he talked about the anxiety he was under. It makes my heart happy to see him doing well!🎉 I've always enjoyed his voice, but hearing him talk about his "re-birth"... that made me emotional. 2. Experience. Sonetimes we go through things. Hard things, things that we regret. AND God is good! He doesn't leave us alone with our regrets... He uses them. He uses all things. But if we want to be changed, we need to pray. 3. Prayer. It changes me. As I talk to Jesus more regularly it helps me to weed through the noise... to process emotions, to find the truth in what I've done and what others have done to me. Giving me the desire to walk like Jesus. He doesn't promise me the path will be easy. Each day I have the choice whether I'm going to walk in obedience or follow what the world says. Thanks for this conversation!❤

Actually while we're at it let just check in with all our gospel music brothers and sisters; Dante's story shows that it's hard and lonely at the top. Let's invite them all to the basement!!❤❤

I love Dante...such a unique gift. This show freed me. I have been praying to stop being so judgey and critical...opinionated. God is judge cause he knows everything...seen and unseen. People act and do based from their capacity...I do not know their capacities and what influences affected them as a person. Ye who is without sin cast the first sin...God knows I have my share. Thanks Tim for being obedient...this podcast provides more wisdom than most organized religious groups...church locations do.

This pod was so good!!! It woke me up to how I need to deal with people. I am in a transition in my life and dealing with family and friends has been so difficult for me to deal with and I just want to just disappear from around all of them. But listening to this and giving scripture helped me so much. Love the Basement ❤️❤️

So glad I came across this interview. I had seen so much negative content regarding this young man and mostly from "Christians"... I pray that he stays in the presence of God and guards himself from the haters operating in the spirit of jealousy... His anointing will always attract it.... I pray he remains unbothered 😊... We fall down, but we gon get back up. TRUST! AMEN!

I didn't know him before today, because I love under a rock, lol. But I'm truly inspired by the testimony of this brother, Dante Bowe. Keep being great! I can't wait to get the album. #rebirth🙌🏾 Thank you Holy Spirit for speaking through your vessels directly to me today. Amen.
