actually DMC4 Vergil is canonically Vergil between age 18-19 meaning the vergil between Devil May Cry manga 1 year before the DMC3 and DMC3. Leon was 19 when Dante was 38. Vergil lost his V before DMC3 that's why he lost against Dante.

@@tengosc9914 no it doesn't, I can tell english is your second language but it's mine to so it's no excuse that you don't know the difference between strength and power? Strength - how heavy can you lift?how hard can you punch?how heavy do you hit with your weapon? Power - The amount of energy the individual carries inside them and can release. For example: Superman is physically stronger than Captain Atom(more strength) but Captain Atom can unleash a nuke exposion by clapping his hands or shoot out red sun radiation from his hands(more power).

Vergil and Dante in their natural states are always essentially equal. Its always only a minor point either way that separates them, like how Dante beats Vergil at the end of DMC3 because Vergil was at the end of his emotional stamina, or how Vergil beat Dante in DMC5 because Dante had been fighting all day. Nelo Angelo loses to Dante because he doesn’t have Vergil’s full power. He is a twisted version of Vergil who is a slave to Mundus, and therefore can’t reach his upper limits. The Reboot is shitty and I refuse to talk about it.

Honestly the reboot wasn't so bad. It was pretty fun to be honest if you don't play it as a devil may cry game but treat it as its own contained action game.

Strength and Durability should have gone to Nelo Angelo Also 4Dante beats 4SE Vergil since canonically Vergil appearance in 4 is before 3 so he's a much weaker version of 3Vergil while 4Dante is everything after The Trilogy meaning he's more experienced and is alot more powerful

There wasn't Vergil in DMCIV, it was a dlc of a teenager version of Vergil (1-2 years before DMC3)

Edits were really nice, i give a like 👍 However you are mistaken on DMC4 comparisions, Vergil DMC4 is basically DMC3 Vergil (yes been repeated so many times in comments) and dante DMC4 is far stronger and i call on DMC5 Dante being stronger than vergil with a high-diff, due to he had to fight Urizen, demons in his way, Cerberus, and Urizen full power, Vergil told him to rest, he didnt, he had to fight shadow and griffin as well in his way, and for last arrived to fight vergil and was able to stalemate him, my dude must had been tired and still was able to stalemate him until Nero appeared also really sweet detail to add DmC

He had literally 0 STRUGGLE against everyone he fought before Vergil after getting devil sword Dante and SDT, so no he wasn't tired, the two are equals and Vergil possibly had more stamina cause he fought and stalemated Dante AND FOUGHT NERO WHO UNLOCKED DEVIL TRIGGER right after Vergil fought Dante, Vergil lost but could still fight, so he has more stamina.

@@Lazar-ox5bd "no he wasn't tired" lol, mfw Dante woke up in a post apocalyptic city, 1st thing he has to do is Fight all the enemies and demons on his way including Urizen 2 times, Ceberus and the 3 familiars, then Vergil, Not including Cavaliere who wasnt fought with DSD. Cap on saying that Vergil has more Stamina, Dante clearly struggled with Qliphoth fruit Urizen. If you count in-game dialogue battle against Nero then you should had counted the one that Vergil says "Heal your wounds dante, get strong, after that we'll settle the matter" after fighting Qliphoth Fruit Urizen, it is clear Vergil knew he was tired, yet again Dante does not care and tries to get into the top of the Qliphoth to battle regardless if he was tired or not and he had to Fight the 3 familiars, he was Totally rested for that fight against his Brother. The one who stalemated the fight was Dante, not Vergil. For me Dante is still Stronger than Vergil, even if they seem to have "equal" power.

@@El_Earth yeah still though the fight was a stalemate and it seems that Vergil has more stamina, because first of all: after the stalemate Vergil fought Nero who now has devil trigger, Vergil sure he lost but you have to take into account he could still fight even after losing, and Dante HIMSELF in DMC 4 (yes he's much weaker then in DMC 5 i know) that Nero at that point in time might actually be stronger than him. That also backs it up in a sense, since Dante was going to sit out the fight, granted he got bitch slapped by Nero

Except for the reboot something that dmc teaches you repeatedly is that every outcome of dante vs vergil that is not a draw or is a close fight is just wrong, and there is no dmc 4 vergil, that's dmc 3 vergil.

Dmc3 dante and vergil are equal also nelo angelo has more strength and durability

So lore wise the DMC1 3 and 4 are incorrect but still good video. DMC 1 confirms that Dante barely won his fight with Nelo Angelo, DMC 3 is definitely high difficulty and DMC 4 is a stomp in Dante's favor he's 38 Vergil is 18 there Dante would've been the strongest in the cosmology at that point.

It is a Vergil after Downfall

Some of the points are just straight up wrong. Let’s go through the list with examples to back them. Feel free to contradict me so I know Dmc1 Strength: nelo Angelo casually jumps massive heights in such massive armor and carries Dante with a single arm while carrying his huge sword in another. We don’t have anything to go by in dmc1 that proves Dante could do this or more unless we pull from dmc3 examples Dmc4 Strength: Dante is not only much older here than dmc4 Vergil which is actually pre dmc3 so he would be carrying a much larger sword regularly for many more years, he also easily held a clearly frustrated Nero in place by his fancy stand arm Battle IQ + endurance: Dante would have much more experience by this point and ways to affect a given situation with his greater amount of weapons. He also stalled the savior while Nero attacked it from the inside which required constant aerial movement Combat + durability: Dante not only beat Vergil prior to dmc4 but Vergil was cut in half at the end of 3 and was visibly still in pain until he left. Dante was impaled by Nero, pushed himself off the statue he was pinned to, pulled rebellion out of his chest, and *casually* hopped out of the church Power + experience: Dante has only strengthened to beat Vergil until he had to flee multiple times at the point of dmc4 and the version of Vergil here is pre dmc3. So canon time = experience DmC is a bit tricky since we never see them interact after Vergil’s downfall. The ghost form of Dante in the dlc isn’t actually him and it doesn’t really DT the same way so I believe it isn’t really fair to claim it has the same capability as the real Dante Strength: there’s a cutscene where Dante claims to be stronger and Vergil doesn’t exactly disagree but instead points out something else he has over him IQ + battle IQ: while Vergil does have far more technological and leadership knowledge as well as being the mastermind behind their operations, Dante has far more combat experience openly fighting demons since childhood while Mundus wasn’t even aware of Vergils existence up until the game. Mundus was only able to track down Dante up to the events of the beginning of the game but fighting was all Dante ever did. Vergil has seemingly focused on leading the operations of the order to affect the demons indirectly and in a more big picture sense Endurance + combat: with combat experience grows endurance, which Dante has more experience in. He also beat Vergil in the end however has not interacted with him beyond the dlc so we’ll never know Durability: Dante never really takes any particularly massive damage throughout the game but Vergil gets stabbed and he’s done. Not really the easiest to compare here Power + experience: experience sort of overlaps with combat experience. To say that Vergil now has more experience because of the dlc events compared to Dante doing most of the actual fighting during the in-game events is reaching. I am going to assume he has more raw power than Dante at this point because of the boost Dmc5 Combat: they’re even
