I loved Asking Alexandria so much when I was younger now that I’m older I don’t listen to that type of music as much, but that live performance is what blows me away no matter how old I get

its like watching someone reacting to someone else, in fact its the same guy haha

However you may feel about your old music I'm gonna just get this out their 90% of the scene kids I rolled with would to this day would agree that stand up and scream was the perfect album. It's one of very few albums I don't have to skip a song. I know it was your past but you made my teenage years so much fun and I'll never forget the first time I heard I was once possibly I literally started punching the air and yelling at my buddy while he did the same thing. Thanks for all good memories!

I remember seeing them live in Orlando in the fall of 2010. I'd give anything to see them play these songs live again.

It's crazy how Danny is soo self aware, he knew he was a bit cringe back then. I used to listen to AA a lot! They were for sure one of my favorite bands when I was like 14-15 years old. I wanted to be like them, I headbanged a lot listening to their songs, now I'm 21 and when I listen to this type of music now, I don't know how to feel, but definitely not like I felt in the past with their music, makes me understand why a band changes over the years, they just don't feel like doing that type of music anymore. And even though I don't listen to them anymore, I feel happy for them because they are still doing what they love and not getting tired of it.

I loved AA as an early teen, stopped listening to most of it or headbanging towards late teens. And I am once again fully appreciating their old stuff in early 20s. I wish I got to see them perform this kind of music live. I got so cucked out of concerts by being 18/19 during COVID.

I listened to them back in middle school still listen to them today. Love old and new but don’t really care for the whole “they were better back than” comments. I appreciate bands trying new stuff as long as it stays in the same genre group. I also love Danny’s side project as well like we are harlot and his solo stuff. But I also listen to oldies like Led Zeppelin and such

I was at this show. Best show I've seen them play. Today, I'm definitely not a fan of their evolution. So sad, but oh well

New stuff is way better to me I was in high school in 2010 and hated this band until years later when alone in a room came out. Basically love their stuff where they abandoned the metal core sound and became rock

Future Danny would have made past Danny quit. Lol I see his point though. When you go from loving yourself in the present and despised your past, its easy to display discontent. In my 30s and I can say 18 year old me was not put together with plenty of problems.😂

His clean vocals are better (as vocal training goes) than ever, it's just not puberty screamo anymore. His voice changed both naturally + lack of vocal training + smoking/drinking habit, but he's doing real fine as techniche goes.
