Danny the Miniature Horse - 7 April 2024
Drive # 237 - Taylor River Reserve - 13.9km
A lovely autumn day, I was in need of some Vitamin D and some Danny time as I was in a sad headspace and my body wasn't playing nice so I needed my therapist Danny.
We went for a wee jaunt up Taylor River, our favourite Ben Morvan track had lots of wasps today so we had to run that gauntlet.
We got to do a run through Omaka as the vehicle gate was open (allowing us to fit) as paintball was on (woohoo)
Not one buck so I am guessing my little chap enjoyed himself too.

I love seeing the autumn come to your part of the world when we are experiencing spring. I am looking forward to seeing the grape vines turn different shades of autumn colors depending on the variety. I live in wine country here in California and I love going up into the hills to look down on the vines in the valley below with each field turning a different color.

Aww thank you for your nice comment. I have a bit of a conflicting feeling about the vineyards, very few of them allow access to their headlands which is the best surface and the safest place for us to be. Where you see me go through vineyards is usually only because those parts are on public land and they have no choice but to allow us access. It's rather heartbreaking because so much land has been turned into vineyards there are becoming fewer and fewer places to ride and roads are scary these days, especially when your only little so we pick and choose, depending on the day or the week, the time of the day and even the time of the year where we can go.
