I am a Catholic priest. There are 3 Initiation Sacraments in the Catholic Church. The 1st is Baptism. The 2nd is Confirmation. And the 3rd and completion of Initiation is 1st Holy Communion. Depending on the diocese, 1st Holy Communion may occur a few years before the Sacrament of Confirmation for children, but regardless, 1st Holy Communion is part and parcel with completing Initiation in the Catholic Church. God bless you Aaron, for the good work you are doing by exposing Scientology and your experience in it.

    Ай бұрын

@@lisakaufman7366 Yes, it is possible to receive all 3 Sacraments at once. For adults, this would normally happen at the Easter Vigil, but it can happen during other times as well. For most Catholics in our times, Baptism occurs in infancy, 1st Holy Communion around age 7 (after 1st Reconciliation, also known as the Sacrament of Confession or the Sacrament of Penance), and then the Sacrament of Confirmation would occur somewhere between the age of 11-14 depending on the local bishop's norms for his diocese. Some bishops choose to make the norm to confer Confirmation for children at the same Mass as 1st Holy Communion around the age of 7. In some of the Eastern Catholic Rites all 3 Initiation Sacraments would be conferred on infants in most cases. Regarding this report of Aaron's regarding Bijou, it seems to me that the 1st Holy Communion was received by the daughter. If an adult who was never validly baptized wants to become Catholic, normally a local parish would give instruction in what we call a Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) which often would run once a week from September to the Easter Vigil in the Spring. But there can be expedited instruction at the parish priest's discretion. I hope that answers your question. God bless.

As a former Scientologist and now Catholic I’m very happy to hear this! For those of you who are saying out of the frying pan and into the fire - consider this: I can criticize my church leaders - including the Pope to anyone at anytime without fear of any discrimination, much less disconnection (as happened to me when I left COS). I don’t have to pay anything - unless I am moved to make a donation. There is no set amount and no judgment. I can leave for years and come back and am accepted with open arms. You can tell a priest your sins (confession/reconciliation) with zero worry of it being written down, taped or repeated to anyone. There is true spiritual healing and the presence of God. I was raised with no church at all and I’m so happy to have landed here. Sixteen years now.

It's so irritating of Anglo Catholics to ignore all the harm the Catholic church has done in catholic majority countries up until VERY recently, and still do to whstever extent possible by meddling in politics in Italy, Spain, Ireland, malta... They also OPENLY TOLERATE CULTS such as Opus DEI within their own church. So all I can say is: either you're dumb or really ignorant. She's got some stories to tell! I wonder what would happen if she told even a majority of the truth about him, his friends, his parents, etc.? And what about her enabling? She knew what his crimes are, and she stayed with him. And committed similar crimes? I can't even imagine how that would work. Did she deliver drugged women to Danny? What was she thinking? She had options as far as men goes. So how will Danny's family treat her now? They'll be pressured to drop her and her daughter. Will they fight her on his behalf or let her and the child go completely, like Tom Cruise and Suri?

  • @HillCountryBluebonnet88

I have trouble believing that DP Masterson stopped drugging and raping women just because he was with Bijou. He enjoyed having control over those women’s bodies, doing whatever he wanted, without their consent. Those urges didn’t just go away because he got married. Sex offenders have the highest rate of recidivism compared to those charged with other kinds of crimes. Did she make a deal with him? Allow him to do whatever he wanted, as long as he didn’t do it to her? One of the stories that came out about him after his conviction was a woman saying that she and a friend were taken to his house after clubbing to continue partying. She said Bijou was there, her friend had a little bit of a drink and started acting really impaired. She went upstairs to the bathroom. When she went to check on her friend, she said her friend was leaning against the wall and Danny was standing over her, almost blocking her from moving. Bijou supposedly got really pissed and they threw the 2 girls out of the house with no idea where they were to get a cab to take them home.

After this the judgement.” My prayer is for Bijou and family that they can live a peaceful life and worship the way THEY CHOOSE to worship. In America, we should all have the freedom to do this.
