Danjugan island is a sanctuary near Sipalay (Negros Occidental, Philippines), which is a great holiday place a few hours away from Dumaguete. The island has beaches, caves, lagoons, reefs, unlimited coffee and is very, very quiet. The reserve is managed by the Philippines Rainforest and Reef Conservation Foundation Inc. I loved the day trip there, and it was so tempting to try and live there (which you can't).
