When the King and Queen of Sweden converse informally with the King and Queen of Denmark, do they speak Swedish or Danish? Or are the languages so similar that it does not matter?

All European royals also speak English, so they have a wide range of languages to speak in. Plus, they are also friends and family. King Frederik's grandmother, Queen Ingrid, was born a Swedish princess, and he grew up speaking swedish with his grandmother. King Frederik's mother and King Carl Gustav are first cousins. Crown princess Victoria is a very close friend of the King and Queen of Denmark and is god-mother to the King's heir, while the Queen is godmother to Princess Victoria daughter and the King godfather to her son.

Our languages are so similar so I believe tha king and queen of Sweden speak Swedish and the king and queen of Denmark speak Danish. No problem. But the Danish kings maternal grandmother was born Swedish princess, so maybe he can speak Swedish too.

Prince Freddy, when are you going to grow up? Sure it's flattering when woman all over the world are offering themselves for you to play with? What about the woman you married? If she acted on her restlessness, being bored with the same old mamas boy and wouldn't control herself, then Denmark suffers. She's smart, banking that you will later grow up. What then does she do in the meantime? She's not stupid, but if she gets tired and leaves you, don't then believe she will keep coming back. Her patience is requiring you to grow up. It won't last forever.
