"Oooh that smells good". You could add a frame/edging to hide the 10mm mistake.

Hi JT. That’s what I’m thinking of doing. I’m waiting till I’ve got all the main bits finished on the bench before I tackle that. 👍 And yes, it really did smell good 🤣😂 Thanks for posting

How is it holding up in terms of wood glue, finishes, etc?

Hi Ryan. Holding together nicely. Paint smudges and a few marks from normal usage but it’s looking very healthy. I didn’t use any glue on the bench. It was all screws. Thanks for posting. Nick.

@@thewoodworkersclub1701 That’s awesome news. And sorry, I should have been clearer. I was wondering how the Danish oil finish holds up to wood glue spills and the like, since I’m looking into finishes for a workbench I’ll use for woodworking. Thanks much for the knowledge share! Cheers!

@@RyanWattersRyanWatters I’ve protected the surface with a sheet of MDF or something when doing glue ups. One of my cleat wall holders is for a. Town paper dispensers for that very purpose. But how the danish oil is holding up, surprisingly well. Admittedly, it’s not had a massive amount of mileage on it yet but I’m hoping to change that this year. Video just published on fixing my garage window!
