Danish Ford Factory produces 325,482 vehicles in Copenhagen from 1924 to 1966

An often over-looked part of Danish industry history is the Danish car manufacturing adventure which was focused in “Sydhavnen” - a part of Copenhagen.
Automobile manufactures as Ford, General Motors, BMW, Mercedes and Citroën established factories here, and the area has later been described as a “mini Detroit”. In this movie from circa 1948, the production at Ford’s assembly plant in Sydhavnen is shown. From 1924 to to 1966 the Danish factory produced 325,482 vehicles.
This film is a part of a production produced by the Ford Motor Company titled “AROUND THE WORLD WITH FORD, PART III“.
