Фильм және анимация
Carl Theodor Dreyer (1889-1968) is Danish cinema's most celebrated director and is still, to this day, an inspiration to artists, filmmakers and audiences worldwide.
On the occasion of www.carlthdreyer.dk (English version www.english.carlthdreyer.dk), a comprehensive website on the filmmaker's life and work launched May 2010, the Danish Film Institute spoke with three prominent Danish directors about their relationship to Dreyer:
In this video Ole Christian Madsen ("Flame & Citron") talks about his experience upon seeing Dreyer's "Day of Wrath" at the age of 12, and how Dreyer's consciousness of style and his topics still can inspire a modern audience.
Carl Theodor Dreyer is the maker of "La Passion de Jeanne d'Arc", "Vampyr", "The Word", "Gertrud" and other classics.
