Got to talk to Mori and Dave at the after party for the repeat of the Phoenix concert. Mori is big on symbols and I got the scoop on the From The Sea EP cover. 1. Turn it to the right and the squiggle is an M and the sun is a D. 2. The rays coming off the sun is morse code, _ _ is M and _ . . Is D. 3. Turn it upside down and the sun and squiggle is a cup of coffee. Mori’s drink of choice before singing. 4. Lamar is an old Spanish word for sea. From The Sea = From the Lamars’. So cool getting to talk to both of them…such a beautiful couple. God Blessed them with each other 🙏.

I think they chose to use "from the Sea" as the pseudonym for this wedding EP because La Mar is Spanish for "the sea". Very apt choice.

Anyone who says that she isn't the best of the best are just lying through their teeth, Dave is a big part of her success, it was so so sad watching her wedding video walking down the isle on her own, her so CALLED Father doesn't deserve this magnificent young WOMAN who spellbinds you every time you watch her 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.

I really like, adore, and appreciate this kind of comment which should always be noted and remembered even a lot longer than Mori’s lifetime, coz we know from the very start (unconsciously or not) that her glory and her other transcendental latent inner values are meant to be so! Being so magnificent and majestic at the same time, yet so close and dear to us in anw possible as a human, singer and a lot more, esp her music!! What a truly disguised angel that is ready to bless, support, and guide us more than ever!!! Sorry for writing too long and being too wordy here, but that’s just how I sincerely feel about here ever since the first minute I listened to her for the first time! So, thanks for reminding us not to be those pathetic liars who are just not capable/not willing/not ready to fathom her greatness and by then missing the chance to realize what the true bliss of the highest music is.. Regarding her dad, let’s just pray for him, as he is her dad afterall, that she cared so much to the point that she made the song “Love you still” about her relationship with him that has been bothering her so much ! Hope that he will understand her choice and decision in his old days and in the very strikingly short lifetime given the pandemic who can take either him or Mori in a flash. I appreciate Mori more because of her decision, in a kind of light that I feel it as a part of Mori’s “cross” to bear, and seeing her responding so positively amidst the trial (even growing spiritually, musically, and now finding her loved ones) makes me respect her even more as really a comprehensively dignified human being with unusual integrity and consistency. Praying for her always, esp her Christian faith that has been kept in HIS providence until now, after she converted a few years ago. God’s calling and God’s leading can never go wrong, that’s at least what I’ve seen from her life so far: a blessed living testimony! How HE called and has lead her has made it so clear to us that it is not an empty admiration or idolatry to cherish her, esp looking at how corrupted this world has been.. Actually, "Desde la mar" is the direct Spanish translation, however, Lamar in French, translated to English, is from the sea.
