I was in Prague also. Unforgettable moment that I will remember all my life.

In the beginning, he won an award. He got his grandmother up on stage and gave her his award,thanking her what she had done for him. For him to get to the stage.

Incredible as it may be, I find that Dimash’s voice has gotten even better. His timbre is richer, his baritone and bass notes are deeper and more resonate, and his high notes seem to be even more supported. He truly amazes me. Now when I listen to other vocalists, they all seem so bland, with only one or two colors or nuances to their voices, while Dimash has an infinite palette. I always love your reactions, and you explain so much, thanks.

How sad that you don't have the ability to appreciate the absolute beauty of other vocalists or the songs they sing just because they don't have 4 octave ranges. 😔

I read in comments recently that some people claim this performance was lip-synced. I don't care one way or the other. When he sings live in a venue, he usually needs the back up of a sound tech/engineer to ensure the volume is properly balanced and the mix of the music and his voice is correct. This is not always available to him by the organisers, especially when only one or two songs are to be presented. I checked the original video, paying particular interest to his throat for signes of a raised larynx that is present with his high belts in particular and yes, this was present as were the obvious presence, as you mentioned, of stage monitors angled towards him. Also, the crowd he was performing to was relatively small. So no to those who claim this particular performance was lip-synced. I always love to watch your sincere and enthusiastic reaction/analyses to Dimash👍🌷💟🌷

Go back to the start of this performance - he is presented an award and calls his grandmother up - at his concert in Prague, he had someone cll out to him during one of the songs, not sure which, but he doubled over in laughter and it's the first time I've ever seen Dimash break character - tooooo funny - it's on the Livestreams
