Thank you! Happily I own every color in this palette, but I’d never seen them all together in this manner. I would change the Cad Yellow for a Hansa Yellow Light or Medium. Thank you again!

And finally someone like me! I got some comments on my Watercolor Collection Video asking why they are clean and impose I don’t use them 😅 Truth is i clean them.. It is a habbit I cannot break. @@theartistelizabeth Indeed! I try to store things in an organised manner, but there is room for improvement. But I do clean my palette, unless there is a large dollop of paint on it, then I leave it for later use.

@@awatercolourist me too. I started with squeezing small amounts of watercolor from tubes to plastic palettes and use the residue.. but now I prefer to use a pocelain/ceramic mixing surface and paints in halfpans

Exactly! I can’t say it is a perfect mixing yet as I don’t think that is the reason why this is created. But nonetheles, it is a pretty good set overall considering the colors chosen 👩🏻‍🎨𝕩𝕠𝕩𝕠, Ｅｌｉｚａｂｅｔｈ ✩ ᡶꫝꫀ ᠻỉꫀꪹᨶꫀ ꪖꪹᡶ ✩

I love this set, I have the six half pans inspiration set which has half of these colors and I love them! Surprisingly even though I'm not into greens, serpentine genuine is my favorite out of this set it even might my favorite green ever 🥰 Your unfinished painting looks so nice I can't wait to see how it turn out 😍 I definitely wish more brands offer curated sets, it's just more fun than basic color set.

Hello my art friend! So glad you love this set and that you have it to from the previous release💕 Serpentine is bust so special isn’t it? Oh yeah I forgot about my painting I should finish yes 😅 I also do wish brands have more curated sets with colors not available on the other sets they have. I know Schmincke releases a lot of palettes in a year but mostly available in Germany (where it is from). I have so many sets especially from Rosa Gallery & Roman Szmal but so many repeated colors also 😅 But we need more half pan sets from Daniel Smith too! 👩🏻‍🎨𝕩𝕠𝕩𝕠, Ｅｌｉｚａｂｅｔｈ ✩ ᡶꫝꫀ ᠻỉꫀꪹᨶꫀ ꪖꪹᡶ ✩

@@theartistelizabeth absolutely agree! I think a gallo has some nice curated sets but they are so pricey 😅 I'm still hopeful that one day when I feel more confident with my watercolor painting I definitely would get one of their sets 🥰

This one is CMY in its primaries and it’s purples are all convence mixes. I would definitely consider adding the colors in those mixes, mainly pb29 and Po73 (I don’t know if thats a hint from Daniel smith on what to get to fill or at least I would be tempted to do that). From there, maybe sepia and indigo. I personally like PBK11, perylene maroon, pg50, sienna pbr7, raw sienna light, undersea green, etc. It bothers me that it lacks a violet pigment like pv55 as well and maybe py129.

I agree! CMY indeed. I like the colors you choose to add to this palette to make it even more cohesive. I will do a video of the other palette they offer and maybe the missing pigments are there and this palette is made supplementart to the other one they released.
