On 10 November 2022, we were honoured to welcome Daniel Schreiber in our house. He read from his German bestseller book 'Allein', which tackles the issue of romantic relationships being valued more than any other kinds of relationships between people, the translation of which will be published in August next year. The reading was followed by a lively discussion with Fred Cooper and Marie Kolkenbrock as well as the audience about the importance of romantic relationships and the differences between being alone and being lonely.
