I hoped to see Ralph fight more at the end. Against others before the final.

Terry never thought that decades later Daniel would end up using his quicksilver method against him.

Silver is an outstanding instructor and martial artist with exceptional teaching ability . It is a shame he doesnt use his talents for good.

Despite Silver's deception (in loyalty to Kreese), I always got the impression that he genuinely connected with Daniel. Their interactions in Cobra Kai made me think that even more.

It clear Silver saw Daniel had what it took and felt Daniel would've been a worthy student despite the fact Daniel knew when he mess up and try to make things right Showing Daniel will see and realize His mistakes well Silver never does

I love how Cobra kai takes every lesson Silver gave in this movie and show it with the same words and vibes.

Silver genuinely turned Daniel into a badass. The way he punched that dude at the club was great.

It's hard to believe the karate kid is alittle older than this guy.

I think Ralph Macchio is about 6 months-1 year older. But it's still impressive considering how Ralph looks today, barely andy grey hairs whilst the actor who plays Silver (don't know his name) has grey/almost white hair and more wrinkles. But in the end it all comes down to genetics, Ralph is italian and in one interview he talks about how most of his family looks younger than their actual age. Hope this puts some insight 😊👍

What a classic villain that's only gotten better as time goes by. The Netflix series weaves all the events of the films in perfectly....

He is 1 of my favorite bad guys, he's having the time of his life being bad and he loves it, even in Cobra Kai when he acknowledges how stupid it was being this way, he ends up going back to being a bad guy and I love that.

Well you don't have to kill somone if they can't fight but if they keep fighting after being down they are tough to go down and death is the answer that's why its best to break somones leg if they can't stand they can't fight

In Karate Kid, it was unethical. But in MMA, this is a genuinely good philosophy.

Daniel literally did the same thing as Robby S4. Daniel left miyagi to join cobra Kai and Robby leave Daniel to join cobra Kai in S4

Daniel looks at the John Kreese Standee and the framed picture of him on the Cobra Kai Dojo wall. You can see he has doubts there but is unsure as he walks in

Terry Silver is a very charismatic character. I love him! I like his determination and confidence and then...he's gorgeous. Even now in Cobra Kai s4 and s5 with the white hair he is. I love him too much! ❤

I feel kinda bad for Silver, now please don’t argue and hear me out. After the All Valley tournament he was rock bottom and he found a will to work his way up to the top again in a GOOD way. He was living a perfectly happy life as a good person. Then Kreese comes in and ruins it for him. Silver at first rejected coming back to Cobra Kai at least ten times. He wasn’t causing any trouble at that moment. Kreese told him, “Your an old man in the last chapter of his life clinging onto some bull**** happy ending” but his ending was going to prison, where he could’ve happily finished of his life. Kreese made him turn into the old Terry Silver we all know again although this time went to jail. It’s Kreese’s fault for not leaving him alone. I know I’m gonna get comments disagreeing with me but it’s my opinion

I mean it’s not a bad thing to see him as a tragedy but you are wrong at the part where Kreese apparently changed Terry. Terry is a bad person, but he was able to hide from himself but burying his old life behind. But in reality, he was always sadistic, Kreese just had to plant the seeds for him to embrace that he hadn’t changed, and he came out a lunatic who beat down an innocent man for his own gain.

Terry Silver sure wasn't a nice man like he was in Cobra Kai.

@hectorlopez1069 Maybe Terry acted a little nice in one of the episodes of season 3 when John Kreese asked if he could come back to Cobra Kai to help where Terry said "no, I'm doing very well here" since he had a home on an island. The only reason Terry went back into helping with Cobra Kai is because, he saw an old Cobra Kai tattoo on himself which persuaded him to go back into helping and then he wasn't a good guy anymore.

Crazy how Daniel son is actually older than Mr. Silver

I actually think Terry’s training turned Daniel into a better fighter. He was definitely tougher after the events of Karate Kid 3 than he was previously and his punches/kicks did more damage.

Better fighter on the street as he broke one jerk's nose. Nothing was effective against Barnes, except the kata he learned from Miyagi.

Imagine if Silver taught Daniel the Silver Bullet during this scene too!

The demonstration of Silver's power here is truly a testament to how incredible of a fighter Mr Miyagi was to have been able to defeat him with such ease after just having wiped the floor with John Crease and Mike Barnes.

Terry Silver forgot to add another rule in between rule 1, rule 2 and rule 3. Like: A man can't move, he can't fight. And the only way to stop him from moving is body is kneeing him in the stomach when you're mostly kneeing him in his lower spine breaking it in half. Would that count as brutal and deadly in the Quick Silver Karate Style?

@fizzy4149 Terry Silver wasn't really trying to train Daniel for the tournament. For one thing, he was teaching Daniel techniques that would make him lose (like face contact was not allowed) and John Kreese told Terry to make Daniel's knuckles bleed which is what he was making Daniel do. Daniel only started betraying Terry when Terry said to him, "you are going to defend, you're getting in that ring" with Daniel saying, "Mr. Silver you can't make me do something I don't want to do" and then he started betraying Terry even more when he found out that Terry and Mike Barnes are on the same side against him. However, it seems like Terry was going to let it go about Cobra Kai because he first told Daniel how he has two choices to either fight one fight on one day or fight everyday for the rest of his life by explaining that if Daniel participates in the tournament, that will be over after that and won't be bothered ever again. So for that, Daniel participated and after Daniel won and Terry walked away and moved away to an island (as seen in Cobra Kai season 3) deciding to let it go about Cobra Kai but only got persuaded to rejoin after John Kreese asked for his help and got persuaded even more after seeing a Cobra Kai tattoo on himself. Overall, if Johnny Lawrence did put Cobra Kai back in business, most likely both John Kreese and Terry Silver would forgotten Cobra Kai forever especially since John Kreese told Johnny Lawrence, "I was going to let it go about Cobra Kai and you brought it back."

I would get freaking chills! In Cobra Kai season 6! If the last episode would go down like this! If Daniel disappears for a couple episodes! And Terry silver and John Kreese get a visit from a lawyer saying you two have been banned from Cobra Kai and they have a new Sensei and ownership! Everyone suspecting who has took it over! And Terry silver looks at kreese and says lets go to the Cobra Kai dojo! To see if the new owner, will lift the ban and partner with us! And they walk in and Daniel Larusso is saying! Fear does not exist in this dojo! Does it? No sensei! Pain does not exist in this Dojo does it! No sensei! Defeat does not exist in this Dojo does it? No sensei! As silver and kreese walk in they see and here Daniel saying this! And silver says Danny boy you're the new sensei" And Daniel says yes! Johnny Lawrence step-dad bought 3 new Locations today! What a great guy! And kreese smirks and says and let me guess? Barnes and Lawrence are the other two sensei's at the other two new Cobra Kai Dojos? And Daniel replies you got it! And silver looks and kreese and starts laughing and says perfect, perfect! You see Danny boy this was my plan all along! When kreese came to me and said you had beat Lawrence, in the All Valley in 1984! That eventually, the only way to stop Cobra Kai! Would be for you to join it and take it over! And kreese interrupt silver and says" what can i say i lied! Johnny Lawrence had heart! And Barnes was indestructible! However me and terry both knew you was always the smarter! Fighter! And kreese says you done what we always knew you could do Larusso and that's bring a balance to Cobra Kai! Kreese looks and Terry and says let's just be honest! We are getting to old for this anymore! And Terry says well come on Johnny! We got to go pack for the Bahamas! Terry and kreese shake Daniel's hand and say good luck and the end credits roll...

Terry Silver was one of the most evil and over-the-top villains ever, lol. I don't think in today's world they would allow him play the role like that, lol. Glad this movie came out when it did because they would have watered down his acting nowadays.

Daniel shouldn't learn karate from this guy in the first place, because he fights dirty just his war buddy John Kreese!

If i had to kick that wood as hard as possible to break them i wouldn't kick using my inside foot i would have to kick full force with my shin my inside foot wouldn't get the job done it would hurt and possibly break my foot

So the intention is to make him bleed - imagine how disappointed they would be HAD Daniel actually succeeded (relying on his Part II experience of breaking ice)…

@@fanso76 The basic idea is that Terry's training, being his trainer, Daniel was doing techniques Terry's way... meaning to forget or not use Miyagi's method that would normally allowed him to probably have broken those boards... corrupting his training, therefore getting hurt. He was not striking ice blocks with his hands, he was kicking with poor technique at wooden boards which he was never taught to do before
