So very glad that this session exists. God bless that guy who called into The Best Show and pointed Scharpling in Romano’s direction.
Saw them last night in Philly and was the best live show I’ve ever seen. A religious experience for the nonbelievers. For the believers of ROCK! plowed through a 40 min set with only one 20 second break with arena rock energy. Was like a punk band playing Woodstock. A true lesson in rock - touched on folk, country, punk, hardcore, indie, soul. Goddamn! Sexually charged emotionally powered rock n roll. LONG LIVE THE OUTFIT

Just saw them this weekend at a music festival in northern Ontario and they blew me away! Never heard of them before that and now I’m on a deep dive of their whole collection.
Saw them in Seattle on 10/13 and got dam anyone who thinks rock n roll is dead needs to see them cuz holy shit was it an epic performance. The talent, the songwriting, the musicianship, 100% in the pocket, all of it was amazing. I was watching true art.. If you love music of any kind do yourself a favor and do whatever it takes to see them!

Best live act ever! Juliana is always on fire! Miss Nardi though.
Every great rock in the 70's wished they were this tight live. Good lord have mercy! Case in point: 18:09 when Daniel and Ian hook up on those 8th notes during Nocturne Child. Unreal. I actually yelped out loud watching that.
I love the first Romano age, but, hey! i like this stuff even more.... they are getting something like the new Fleetwood Mac the voices, songs and production are top class... im hooked with the last "Cobra Poems" album...

Holy smoke. Taken after 30 seconds hearing this first time - soulful, tight band, great rhythm section with interesting lyrics, harmonies and kick-ass guitar. What a great show - nice production!
Such good sound for these Best Show live performances. I hope y'all release a comp LP of them.

the mix here is totally different than the album
This is the best band in Canada right now. Been lucky enough to be at a bunch of show, keeps getting better. Wishing the Outfit all the best.
I've seen Daniel twice so far and when he comes out to CA I try my best to see him but oh my god his shows are something to really see! Everyone is in their element and the music takes over them and they become the music and it's honestly awe inspiring! I've chatted with him after the shows and he's super nice! You really gotta see them if you haven't yet!
This is one of those rare times that the tambourine player feels like an essential part of the group and not just an instrument they tossed someone so they have something to do.

One of the best tambourine performances I've seen. Incredibly consistent.

And let's not forget the shaker! Or is that an apple she's just waving around like a shaker?? 8-)
The mix on this is fucking awesome
Love it. I was having flashbacks to the Rolling Thunder Revue.
Absolutely flawless. How the frig do they make such seemless transitions.

I was there, first time I've seen him or the Outfit, totally amazing!
This is such a perfect efficient set, the outfit rips!
Incredible!
I've seen them in Lyon(France) in June, awesome
Best band ever.
Daniel Romano is a fenomenon but for the real thing you have to go back to his period 2010 - 2015 ; absolute incredible what he did in that period ; not only his albums but also his live played sing/song writer songs : they are incredible good , the best !

I found this because Mason Stoops mentioned that he listens to a lot of Daniel Romano. Glad I followed that lead. 👍
Geez, I just listened to this on the podcast and wanted to watch a bit of this just to get a sense of their overall vibe and I ended up watching the whole thing less than twenty minutes after listening.
Where is Nardo??????
You've Changed Records has a Boxing Week Sale on some of Daniel Romano's recent LPs, heckuva deal...

Cool stuff! The first song reminds me of Ted Leo and the Pharmacists
his voice reminds me a lot of Dylan's in the Desire era

The singer on the right needed to do some karate kicks **for stage dynamism**.
I love this band, but this medley sucked. I hate it when any band does a medley. C'mon. Nothing worse.
