my dad was born in a magdalene laundry in ireland. he was then sold on by the church. he used to tell me this song was him..... it destroys me. but daniel was his favourite singer. he passed away 2013. it makes me cry

I felt so sorry for your dad.May his soul rest in peace.So sorry for your loss.

My Dad always used to sing this song when I was little, he died yesterday so thank you for the beautiful version of it that brought back so many memories

Another song sang beautifully by Daniel. I remember this from tears ago sang by Karen Young. It always chokes me up xx

I listen EACH day. I request this of Daniel. I remember his singing it as I was in the television station. I requested it and this fabulous man sang it thus making me cry. Daniel, you're GREAT!!!!🎉
