Luca made me feel so bad for Danica I felt embarrassed and upset for her. He was horrible towards her and treated her like a leaper !! He could have said I'm sorry but I'm really happy with Gemma but we can be friends and got to know her and been her wing man. He could even have just said he's definitely not interested but we can be friends and introduced her to Gemma and Been friendly...... but no he acted so nasty and it was completely weird and over the top. He humiliated her and it made all the other guys think she was a leaper too. He was obviously really nasty off camera too, don't forget we only get a snippet of the day....... and I felt everything she described in that few minutes, so imagine what the rest of the 23 hours felt like to a 21 year old in a house full of strangers 😢 No excuses unfortunately he was horrible. I mean luca made it obvious that he wanted to stay with gemma and slept out of respect for her alone. Jay literally told her to her face that he wanted to couple up with antigoni and she still picked him and acted confused afterwards. Josh just used her to get in the villa. Billy did bits with her and run around telling every one and then immediately dropped her. She even got Jamie at the end and walked out of love island with him. But she blames luca, the man who saved her two times for her love island journey. She is so delusional.

First time watcher of LI with this series. Cannot understand what the issue with Luca is, still. He made it quite clear out of loyalty to Gemma, who he genuinely seemed besotted with, he wasnt interested at the time and she still went ahead and chose him. How did she expect him to react. Jump into bed, have a cuddle and say you still have a chance. After what appears to have been a brutal breakup with his mental health obviously being affected as you can see from interviews and posts etc, he appears to have come out better for it and is quite relevant currently. There were probably a lot of people that quietly had a laugh over the way the break up took place and his public humiliation. He appears to have grown from this, lets hope Danica can as well.

Here’s the thing, your feelings are valid and I’m sorry you had a tough time in the villa. You deserved better. However, it’s hard to empathize with someone on their mental health being effected after they bash someone multiple times on a podcast a year after the fact. Take Josh, for example. She lacks self-awareness and her chat was dead. She has this unrealistic belief that any man would abandon their preferences and would choose her over others, which is delusional. For instance, Jay told her he liked Antigoni, but she still picked him and acted like she didn't know about their mutual interest. In episode 25, Luca was the only one who showed genuine concern for her and asked her how she’s feeling, when other boys didn’t care but she still wants to say luca treated her ‘’disgustingly’ when he was the only one that cared and checked up on her. It seems like Blaming Luca for not making a connection or her journey is just an excuse because she can't accept rejection or she has some memory loss issues.
