Dangerously Overflowing River and Train Crossing over it | My Lucky Escape | Thirukkural Express
A snippet from my journey in the Thirukkural Express where we skipped Nellore and then crossed the dangerously overflowing PENNA River which brought havoc in certain parts of Andhra Pradesh last month. Also crossed a train over the river.

By looking at these trains crossing such dangerous over flowing rivers shows when it comes to life, doctors are not the only ones, Engineers are way more ahead in keeping people's trust!

in my entire life..i have never seen this river raging like this...wow!!
This river flow reminds me of Farraka Barrage , one can not hear train sounds and only flow noise can be heard .Great compilation .
Man I can't even dream of felling into that horrific waters from the train somehow accidentally...

Oh, boy! Never seeing Penna river with such dangerous currents. All my past crossings have been when it was pretty much dry.

I think you've crossed this route either on Nov 19 or 20. After that many trains were cancelled in that route (both ways).

Exactly the next day (21 November) the railway tracks were washed away and all trains had been cancelled

Love from Nellore ♥️... Nice vedio of penna river overflow.. It's rare actually. Due to busy track many trains skip Nellore.. It's an important route connecting grand trunk and howrah mail route. Track Tripling works are going on now.
My native is Nellore really I didn't see this much of water in Penna river I think the water will be 30ft high Most of the people there they use ground strength bridge for short cut so I am telling it will be 30ft height water is now flowing

Hi Avinash very good coverage. I want to let you know something regarding this connection between Nellore nd Nandalur Firstly Nandalur isn't a district it comes under Kadapa district and river near Nandalur is Cheyyeru/Bahuda is a tributary of penna. The railway track near Nandalur was washed away due to Annamayya Reservoir collapse that had taken many lives in Nandalur mandal region.100 kms west from here point where that Cheyyeru joins Penna and 70kms west from Nellore city Somsila Reservoir flood gates were opened, due to which this flood water drowned few low lying areas of Nellore city.
