@Tonny Singh just don't be carried away with the speed. Speed has lot of implications. Of course it is the Railways' fault. Intelligent designs like overpasses and underpasses can save a few lives. Point being mobility is important but unnecessary speeding is stupid in a populous country like ours..

This is because its not just about speed or design, its about our love for rajdhanis, and this love will be ever lasting. Bengalis who live outside west bengal and travel to their home town by rajdhanis, sealdah, howrah, and durontos also, please like. 😍😍

Even though planes are faster than trains, the feeling in riding the Train is unmatched. ❤️ Was always fascinated by how fast they go pulling tons of masses.

Marvellous photography ..I remember that day... I was late for my work and had hopped down at the end of platform in Dankuni to quickly cross the track ..when I faintly heard screaming around the area at my back......I fumbled..and suddenly someone pulled me hard ..away from the track..and in that moment Howrah bound Rajdhani literally tore through the track... phew..!!...my unforgettable moment.I never ever repeated such act till date.. .Rajdhani is a tough master.

For past 35 years I am abroad my train travels have reduced, more is by air as trains don't take you there. In India I love the Mumbai local trains liked by every Mumbaikar, going outstation the long distance by KR to Kerala my native place. Missing it

I see trains daily from my window..am near to the station..my brain suddenly switches on national anthem whenever i see fast moving train..proud to be Indian.

Best train I found till date just after Lucknow Junction to Anand Vihar Tejas Express, they both are worth enjoyable throughout the journey but nothing can replace the comfort of the berths as Chair Cars are bit boring as per my experience but Tejas is quite spacious and cleanest train in India!

I travel by Howrah Rajdhani express since 1970s. In those days, chair cars were in service.. Fare was around Rs 125 Vegetarian foods served on board the Rajdhani express were excellent. I remember past glory Jay hind Bharat Mata ki Jay
