‘Dangerous’: Chris Bowen’s net zero push ‘threatens to destroy’ energy market
The Albanese government’s green agenda continues to “ramp up” at a pace which threatens to "destroy” what is already a dwindling energy security market, says Sky News contributor Steve Price.
According to Mr Price, the “dangerous” Energy and Climate Change Minister Chris Bowen announced emissions from farms, buildings, waste dumps and passenger vehicles will be subject to “aggressive national reduction targets”.

We need to withdraw from the Paris Accord forthwith and use the most economical energy resources available. The carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuels are actually beneficial. Benefits include increased agricultural yields (main effect) reduced winter heating costs and fewer deaths from hypothermia.

Chinese are buying up land and houses in Australia like there is no tomorrow. They will easily overtake the population of ethnic Europeans here in a few decades. They dont need a war, they will just take over eventually, then they will send their polluting industry to Australia, and move the industries from Chyna. Its all in the Chynese Art of War. They could put all the whites in Australia in one city, and we would be happy.....and they can run the rest of the place. Wind farms and solar farms have run their race and will not proceed as it has been determined the astronomical costs are not sustainable. An intermittent form of energy as the main component is unacceptable to industry and the population at large. The shelf life of solar and wind infrastructure is short term and replacement is cost prohibitive. Nuclear is a good option as well. Here's a small sample of how many coal plants there are in the world today. I could go into using the advanced technology of thermally efficient, supercritical steam generators using our own world's best metallurgical coal; but what's the point, it is treated as hearsay and political hyperbole here in Oz. The EU has 468 plants, building 27 more for a total of 495. They tell everyone else it's their responsibility to 'Save The Planet' from Climate Change, typical Europeans; morals are a philosophy, honesty is a heresy! Turkey has 56 plants, building 93 more, total 149 South Africa has 79, building 24 more, total 103 India has 589, building 446 more, total 1036 The Philippines has 19, building 60 more, total 79 South Korea has 58, building 26 more, total 84 Japan has 90, building 45 more, total 135 AND CHINA has 2363, building 1171, total 3534 And our AUSTRALIAN politicians are going to shut down our 6 remaining plants and save the planet. “What historians will definitely wonder about in future centuries is how deeply flawed logic, obscured by unrelenting propaganda, actually enabled a coalition of powerful special interests to convince nearly everyone that carbon dioxide from human activity was a dangerous, planet-destroying toxin. It will be remembered as the greatest mass delusion in the history of the world - that carbon dioxide, the life of plants, was considered for a time to be a deadly poison.” - Richard Lindzen, Professor Emeritus MIT

Millhouse stuffs up everything. He was the economic brainstrust behind shortens failed leadership bid. Albo and labor are going hard to impoverish Australia. So many damaging policies .
There will be less electricity available and more electric cars on the road, what could possibly go wrong.
Read between the lines: We will stop using internal combustion cars - meaning 90% or more of the car owners of today will not be able to afford a car - it will be electric only, very expensive (much more than today) and the supply will be scarce, which will drive the prices up even more! The energy bills will go up dramatically and with it the prices of everything, food for example. So if we let this politics to continue, we should really understand that it will affect our lives very much in a negative way - Our living standard is going down already and it will plummet, many jobs will be lost in the process.
whoever voted for labour deserves everything that is happening.
You have no choice. It’s called democracy.
The policies of this govt will continue to cause financial insecurity and hardship to individuals, families and businesses, until ordinary people rise up and say 'I have had enough: we deserve better'.

Pie in the sky NET ZERO, means endless pain for people who can't afford it, power price rises, will go up and up into the distant future, thousands of people can't pay there power bills now, it won't be too long before many more people will be approaching poverty level.
