@@Jordan3DS During an interview with the lead writer of Danganronpa S, he said that the artist was allowed to put any character he wanted into the promotional art. This also explains why Hifumi is very prominent in the art. The artist just felt like putting him in lol 😂

No one can tell if V3 was its own thing or if its part of the original series. Not to mention the idea of "fiction still affecting reality" that is also a big part of the ending

the music used in the first half of the trailer only made me even more hyped - I’m so damn excited for Decadence! :D

Thanks a lot Spike Chunsoft, for getting these Danganronpa games and an actual new entry on the Switch. I've haven't gotten a chance to play one before. As long as I can actually enjoy these games in terms of quality design, I should be able to have other people to try out these as well.

Now if only they'd show Zero Escape fans this much love.

Word of warning: PLAY THEM IN ORDER So, 1st game, 2nd game, there's a spinoff called Ultra Despair Girls that isn't included in Decadence, but you can probably find an online playthrough of it somewhere, then the DR3 anime, you can probably find that online too, and THEN V3.

I already preordered my copy, I’m pleasantly surprised that it’s coming out earlier than previously announced.

Damn but that Junko spoiler at the end tho. But also that screenshot of Tenko, Sakura, Akane, Kokichi & Keebo is my favorite thing ever now.

I'm going in blind, so these will be my introduction into the series 😌

Despair returns in full force!!

I had an idea for a DanganRonpa and Persona crossover where the Phantom Thieves derail a killing game either by knocking out potential killers, freeing participants, and making progress on the mastermind’s palace. Maybe there could be multiple endings. A bad ending where the Phantom Thieves are caught and to really twist the knife each of them have their own executions that you have to watch one by one as a game over sequence or they share one. Possibly by either being caught or by running out of time Endings that are more bittersweet due to some characters killing each other, possibly due to taking too long to complete the palace A Golden ending where you not only get everyone saved but also either get the mastermind to have a change of heart. Possibly by completing the game as fast as possible.

I love how they made the trailer so exciting and jolly then when you play the game-

For anyone curious about this: It's similar to Ace Attorney, if it was a lot darker and somewhat SAW-esque about high-schoolers killing each other. If that remotely interests you, give it a try. If you like AA and are okay with darker themes, you'll very likely enjoy Danganronpa. (just for the love of god, start from the first one; these games were MADE to be played in order!!!)

It's basically a visual novel with a lot of Ace Attorney aspiration (like the famous "OBJECTION" or the finding whose the culprit). But yeah, it's a really good series of game with great characters, plot as well as some "plot".

Well 1.) The themes are probably much more dark and disturbing. Since the Warriors Of Hope are all children. Kotoko for example was sexually abused and they show the Warrior back stories Including showing that she was Sexually abused. A Karen might throw a fit behind it cause they weren't watching their kid and let them buy it ignoring the warnings which btw happens a lot💀💀💀 it's probably just safer amd easier to justify "teens" (well..Spoiler alert..depictions of Teens in the THH And SD2 Cast) killing eachother amd acting Innappropriately (Miu I'm looking at you baby girl😭😭😭) since that's common in anime. Rather then a group of 10 year olds abuse as well as them playing with dead bodies like they where dolls. Or 2.) It wasn't all that popular in Japan

@@KomaedasOneTrueHope Or it's probably because they wanted to hit a deadline and found it easier to port all 3 mainline games while turning one of the side games in V3 into a spin-off with extra content over porting Ultimate Despair Girls to the Switch.

they said the reason UDG was not ported is because they are afraid that nintendo will not tolerate the talk about this game, but that if there are enough requests there may be a chance

@@Monokirb They clearly haven't actually talked with Nintendo if they think that's the case, because they're more laid-back about censorship now. Also Gal Gun Returns exists.

@@AkameGaKillfan777 one of the 10 year old characters in UDG was litterally sexually abused. Not saying which one...but each of the Warriors experienced some type of disturbing Traumas. And the game Shows you their back stories which includes their Traumas. Rather it was Physical or Sexual. THAT is what they mean by Difficult. There are people who get offended by that and ignore the warnings on the game rating. So it's probably just safer to just leave the games with the older characters and pass on the ones with the young characters

Never played this series so I might get Decadence, but I don't fully believe that it's all on one cartridge OR that these ports don't have some technical issues. All other Switch collections have had one or the other, or even both.
