I love what the sequels did with their theme music, but man. There is just something about those original Dangan tracks, these ones, that gives me the shivers. It's astounding how much it adds to the experience just walking around and chatting with the characters.

And towards the middle it even has moments where the beat and music die down a little to make space for the eerie sound the plucking bell like sound gives; which to me signifies the part about their life that is very much not normal and okay

Omg same, I was lucky when I got my ps vita and danganronpa 2 on june , I loved playing it during the sunny days because of the island-ish atmosphere the game has.

I think Beautiful Dead/Morning have to be my favorite of the bunch. So foreboding yet oddly calming...

Seriously. They’re all so perfect that it comes down to the feel and sort of how well the theme ties into its ingame surroundings, which is why even tho Beautiful Lie or Ruin may be the most ‘beautiful’ sounding, the complexity and feelings elicited which you mentioned make Dead/Morning work perfectly esp in the game (and to remind me of the game/series in general)

I would have put Nagito instead of Chiaki during "Beautiful Ruin (Summer Salt)," since that plays in the prologue when you're meeting the students with him. And I would have put Makoto and Sayaka for "Beautiful Days" for the same reason. Too late now though, and I'm just nitpicking.

A shame the "Wonderful"s from Ultra Despair Girls couldn't be included here.

You can say what you want about the story of Danganronpa, but you can't deny that the music is absolutely beautiful.

Danganronpas "Beautiful Days" theme is so nostalgic to me. I have begun playing these games for the first time with my little brother who became a Danganronpa Fan during the pandemic and had no idea what a wild ride this series would be. The piano remix of the second game is probably my favourite of these because it captures the feeling of the one peaceful thing in these games perfectly. I hear these two themes all the time in my head when in the bus or something.

Beautiful Dead is probably one of my favorite songs to listen to. It really suits the atmosphere of my neighborhood, and especially when i go on afternoon/evening strolls. I also gets me feeling a certain mood and i love it. I’m currently working on my own original story and i feel Beautiful Dead really sums up the beginning/first season of my story.

IMO, Beautiful Lie is the best, it sounds so upbeat and beautiful to listen to, it makes you forget you’re in a killing game

Beautiful Ruin is by far my most favorite, especially the SS version

Beautiful Morning is my fave.

Without argument, Beautiful Lie remains supreme.

I really love how the video is split-up so I know where each song starts, really useful feature

Beautiful Dead is still the best song in the entire series.

Oh this was cool, I had just finished Danganronpa games last weekend. btw Beautiful ruin 16bit doesn't have an annotation box, or then it overlaps with the video slider so much that it can't be clicked. /edit I just noticed that large player extends the annotation box so it's clear to be seen, so it's only a really minor thing on 1080p small player.

In Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope’s Peak Academy there was another "Beautiful" theme. It was a variation of Beautiful Ruin, I believe, and played in the last episode of the Despair Arc near the end, when we were shown what Ultimate Despairs have done. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like this version is included in the OST. I consider it pretty cool myself.

Can also be relaxing. Pretty good BGM. 5. Beautiful Lie NDRV3 31:15 Pretty good but in my experience of playing v3 it sometimes got annoying for me. 6. Beautiful Dead DRAE 21:53 Meh. 7. Beautiful Lie [VR World] DRV3 34:55 Its okay I guess. Also I miss u Gonta 8. Beautiful Days DR1 0:01 Definitely not my favorite and I honestly dislike this song.
