Daneliya for me has one of the best voices, I grew up in pain in many ways, and never went to the drugs. Pain helps you grow and move on in life.

I am pretty sure she is writing these songs based on observations of what is going on around her. Daneliya has never hidden the fact she wants to be a Pop Star. Though at times I think her voice is being sold shot, there is no denying the beauty and richness of her tones. I also like the juxtaposition on her blaze' almost floating quality of her voice here, lined up against the insistent beat. I'm not sure many of us escaped the drug culture without a few scars. Today's kid's, though, face the lethal roulette' of Fentenol and whatever other horrors that have been cooked up in backroom labs. Daneliya has said she wants to take her music darker for the next bit of time. How long that will is up to her as it should be. Saeed since this is only your second video, let me recommend one just to hear what we old veteran Daneliya listeners have been hearing all these formative years. This is a Sam Smith cover called, 'Diamonds'. kzread.info/dash/bejne/iXWtktKNY7DZk5M.html Daneliya 15 'Diamonds' by Sam Smith.

The glaring elephant in the room with Danya is the fact that she has much more technical prowess in vocals than any of her originals ever taps, the beats are all very linear and similar with little Acrobatics, none of these Originals are bad, they simply do not utilize much of her Potential. This song is nothing for Danya to sing, doesn't test her whatsoever. I have no idea who is writing and arranging these offerings, but they are quite simple for her, more complexity is needed to showcase what she has in the vocal toolbox, and it is much more than we have heard in say the last 2 years. An Oblique example would be Brandon Stone and Diana Ankudinova, Stone knows how to Tap Di's Potential, and that is what is then heard. Her originals lean too far into simple and repetitious, sounds far too Standard everyday "Radio" Pop, either her writers need to write more complex material, or new writers need to be found.

@@pappysshoes6563 I can't say I disagree with you in general. However, if Daneliya is telling the truth, and I can't see why she wouldn't be, she never had much encouragement to pursue those talents back in Kazakhstan. So her creativity in putting a song together may take a little nurturing. Then maybe that isn't her strong suit. In which case finding good songwriters is always problematic. So I guess where you and I might disagree in dealing with what she is doing now is, how to encourage her without being a sycophant. Or, how to be critical without being mean about it. So maybe we're supposed to be "Good Cop, Bad Cop". Maybe in the long run it doesn't matter what either of us thinks. From my own experience, and I am 73, nobody particularly cares what I think. Maybe you have better luck than me. Or, it could be you have something meaningful and helpful to say. Well now you've seen my mind in action. Good luck deciphering that mess. Go with God my friend.

@@davidcochran6291 You backed my point up with your answer, her covers have generally been better recieved precisely because they were already well known popular songs that much of the time required her to showcase the very talents she needed to offer them. She wasn't encouraged to sing specific genres because some of those aren't well recieved culturally everywhere, but she was singing more complex and demanding material when she was 10 and won the Voice, again none of them are bad, her voice has always been there, but material that sounds Cookie Cutter Pop isn't going to shock the masses when they are already swimming in it. Both of the Singers I mentioned are Orders of Magnitude better than any of the "Top" singers today, and many more exist underground, they are lost in a Sea of Mediocrity people call Talent. The good cop bad I just went by, I tend to be Blunt (at 62), and don't see any reason to change^^

@@pappysshoes6563 I see no reason for you to change either. There is room for both opinions to exist and be valid. I look forward to her next effort to see how you see that one.

Ela é maravilhosa e está construindo sua identidade musical, experimentando. A voz dela é fora desse mundo. Reaja a "Tied" sua primeira música autoral (co-escrita).

Have you heard Daneliya's covers of Faouzia's "Tears of Gold"? There's a straight up pop version from AGT, and an unplugged version. Both amazing. As an aside, I've had my own battle with addiction. I'm 27 months in recovery from cocaine abuse, so I appreciate your struggle, whatever it was. Keep up the good work.

The first is autobiographical melancholy masterpiece telling the story of her childhood success as a vocalist and the struggles she has faced moving into to her own artistry "Tied" kzread.info/dash/bejne/gYel1qiLdabOkdY.html Next is "Cynical" a totally different groove that displays her versatility as an artist "Cynical" kzread.info/dash/bejne/pph2vMWthcXQoJc.html and lastly you should listen to Daneliya's rendition of Okean Elzy's "Not Your War" at the Voice of Peace Concert live at 16 years old kzread.info/dash/bejne/i4qVmqyup8mzY7g.html Your first reaction to Daneliya she was 14.
