Maduve Maduve Maduve 4. Danda Pindagalu 5. Prema Pishachigalu 6. Daridra Lakshmiyaru (later changed to Sahasa Lakshmiyaru) The end of Phani Ramachandra in Udaya TV n by then Paapa Pandu started in ETV...

I think in late 90s(1999 may be) or early 2000s this serial was huge hit. This serial ran for only 200+ episodes. Yet we remember today very much. But it was most controversial too. The video here is 100 th day special. I was burst into laughter while watching it for the first time. Reminds me many memories of the time.Really nice one.Pls upload title track where V.Manohar performed as Narada.Now a days we are missing this type of Desi stuff. Most serials are like adopted from Hindi serials and drag for years without any logics. Really pity on today's serials. By the way I came here after watching RCB version song.

All the leads will be called as danpindagalu and other names so they make money in wrong way and lie the family members as if they are working in big companies. So all family members feels happy. They start treating them as special during which this song comes. After this also there are episodes where all the leads wants to marry rich girls and settle in life. But they fail in that too..So later they realise the power of hardworking no matter what and become successful. The serial ends with everyone living happy with their respective life partners.

One and only best serial ever I seen, remembered my school day's. I guess I was studying 2nd or 3rd std,(2000-01) now it's 2018 l use to sit on my mother's lap n watching this serial that was awesome feeling n life time memorable. Still this is the first serial comes to mind. Thank you Pani Ramchandra The Director. I literally gets irritate when I see present days serials..

One of my childhood memory

Back in the early 2000s this was an Insanely popular show on Udaya TV, almost every soul in our Bank Colony (Srinivasa Nagar) neighborhood would gather in front of the TV at 7:30pm in the night would remain glued until 8pm. As a 2nd Std class I have faint memories of the serial. Nevertheless, I can recollect a quite of few them There was an episode where the characters try to woo beautiful girls, by posing themselves as rich men, Unfortunately their plan falls flat when the girls find out the truth. A Character played by Suneel Puranik (Venkatasha) tries to woo one vidurya and fails to impress her. Kal manja pursues a career in auto driving before becoming a politician. And Some random guy played by Harish Raj becomes a Movie Director in the end. The penultimate and the last episode showed the unemployed characters leading settled life. Follow up to this I think was Premapichagalu.

If someone don't know about whether this TV serial is entertaining or not, if this 14 mins video can able to keep you laughing for straight, imagine entire show. This is one of the best show in Kannada which made us to block some time in our routine

This 14 mins video we watched those days for 30 mins in Grandma house everyday because we didnt had TV those days. I was hardly in 2nd or 3rd Standard. It was 100 days special episode. So they made us laugh so much..I used to write to Ushe TV (Today's Udaya Movies) to telecast these songs but never came.. This serial came for hardly 206 -225 episodes only.Yet mega hit show..Now a days if a show is hit means even our grandchildren can see same show same track..

This is why I love old serials at least they had different plot and genres but now all the serials has the same plot a kid can can predict what happens next. The same plot of husband love hate relationship with one girl in the family having hots for the guy (gross) and one member lost in childhood and main female lead being doctor, police, architect, wrestler, lawyer but has 0 self esteem or self respect when it comes to mother in law disregarding her. Absolutely sick of them. People would seriously watch these if they retelecasted instead the crap these days

This serial got into the net of controversy because of its title song. During those days, majority of the B.A, B.Sc, B.Com graduates were jobless and it was like an insult to such people as many such unemployed people underwent embarrassing moments. Even small kids started making fun of unemployed youths after watching this serial. Few people even became depressed & committed suicide because of the embarrassing moments they faced after this serial was aired on Udaya TV channel. Many people lodged complaints against director Phani Ramachandra and demanded Udaya TV channel to stop telecasting this serial as it was a direct insult to those unemployed people. But it was an ugly truth of those days....

Those days? That title song is as true today as it was back then. This is the story of not just graduates but also many post graduates. It's scary. And this stupid pandemic made things even worse.
