Never one ungraceful moment. So ethereal, so light--she looks like you could pick her up with one finger. Wow!!!

I know technique has progressed alot nowadays but in my opinion no one can match evdokimova's giselle. she gives a real impression of ghostly and ethereal lightness at the same time

WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!! Extraordinary. In statistics we say "an outlier" meaning that her performance is beyond all others. I'm Cuban and I saw Jorge Esquivel (Sigfried) dance in Havana during the late 1970's. I did not know hw had danced with Ms. Evdokimova. His performance is also extraordinary, BEAUTIFUL, JORGE ESQUIVEL!

Nessuna aggettivo è sufficiente a descrivere la bellezza e la poesia di Eva ! Era meravigliosa intensa, poetica e luminosa...

She takes her time. She doesn't rush from one step to another. It's about emotion, not technical display.

First time I ever really saw the story. Instead of just watching technique.

IMO, no one does Giselle as well as Evdokimova. Better than Fracci, Makarova, N. Pavlova, Bessmertnova, Fonteyn, Ferri. All brilliant ballerinas, but Eva owns this role.

when l was young (centuries ago ) in london one day l went to take a dancer friend to the little private studio of madame cleo nordi was 1978,madame nordi was at that time the last living dancer of anna pavlova company and gave private lesson to a little number of top dancers ,that day eva evdokimova was thereat the barre and at the end of the lesson l was introduced to her ,she was rather tall and thin rather shy and modest a very sweet simple girl .always in the same period l saw her dancing many times in london being she guest principal of LFB now ENB sometime with nureyev and often with peter schauffus in particoular with schauffus she did marvelous performances in giselle and the sylphide ,roles in my memory still strongly linked to her .she was a marvelous dancer no doubt about it

Her fingers, her arms, her head, amazing how she can handle so many little details. Or maybe she is not handling them. Maybe she IS the Giselle.

She does magic with small details and her use of space other dancers can't match. The difference between a great artist and very good ballerinas.

magnifique, la chorégraphie est légèrement différente à certains moments mais l'interprétation est stupéfiante, un vrai fantôme sorti de la tombe .... par contre les commentaires sur la musique, pas terrible. !

The talking over the wonderful pianist was rather annoying - but a wonderful Giselle - not like the contortionists/gymnastic style so prevalent today!!
