You know guys? "Permission to dance" includes special choreography that incorporates international sign language that means "fun" "dance" and "peace". Scratching their body while raising the thumb and slightly bending the race of the fingers means "fun". Moving 2 fingers side to side on top of the palm of the order hand as a stage represents "dancing" and lastly making "V" sign means "peace"

If you watched the teaser, the releasing of the purple balloons signifies the end of the pandemic in 2022. That's why they opened their masks and enjoy living free again like before the pandemic. What I love about this video is that they added the elements of sign language and it surprised me also. They also built the set from scratch just for this MV.

I'm loving the cowboy/country style they have going on and I'm also giving props to the stylist noonas for styling them this way and also props o to the people in the MV as you could see they were clearly havin fun. I'm loving the beat and the line " I don't need permission to dance" will be stuck in my head for ever and always now, also it's such and iconic line and is up there with " Get it, Let it roll". I'm also loving the beat of the music as it'd so happy and upbeat and really summery, it also makes me wanna smile just seeing them have fun. The choreo is so groovy and makes me wanna dance and I just wanna groove with it also as there isn't really that much choreo it's really easy to dance too. I love their MV as it shows the boys having fun with eachother and other people also the vocals are as amazing as ever, I especially love yoongis vocals as he really can sing, and it makes me wanna sing along. It all being English aswell also makes it their 3rd all English song and this one is just as catch as Dynamite and Butter. Also I love the message behind the song ad it basically says no matter what or where you are if you here music you love just dance along to it as you don't need permission to dance and have fun. Us armys are getting so spoilt on our birthday and o just love the guys so much and you can clearly see how much they love us back k by just seeing how hard they work and how they care about us. You'll never get another band like BTS who love their fans so much and who works so hard for them. Thankyou BTS for a wonderful birthday present

For other ARMY complaining about the song being westernized listen: This is only their 3rd full english? Whatcha on about?? We have 100+ in korean. Last year the BE album songs was in korean.. come on... Us ARMY are always proud that BTS is not just 1 genre.. we always say they are THE GENRE so they are constantly branching out and trying different sounds thats why we love them for not sticking to one sound. They're bringing more and more non fans to our BTS universe and they will be discovering the great complex hard hitting past songs, is'nt that a good thing? Im sure they will be going back to singing korean songs. This is a birthday gift to ARMY, its in english so all the different races of ARMY can sing fully to it.. plus incorporating ASL sign language. The previous song gifted to BTS was Make It Right💜 Andddd today is ARMY's birthday! BTS said that this song is a gift for our birthday. Its almost a tradition to drop a new song either on members birthday or on ARMY's birthday! ah btw, purple is BTSARMY colour! I gave you guys a thumbs down because as a musical artist the lyrics really mean something and they are singing a story and when you are talking through the lyrics and not listening to them is disrespecting the songwriters of this song as dancers, don't you choreograph for what the song means or the story that it tells?
