i got an old ROH don quixote tutu at a tutu auction... but that was ages ago and i'm not sure if they still do them. you'd have to look into it :)

i need to get better at making tutus, and learn to love making those 'frothy skirts'! (i adore that description :D )

Really interesting and way too short - the video, not the tutu. We're still trying to work out the optimum length for an online video but congrats TheGuardian. This is just the sort of video we love doing!!

You'd probably have to purchase one at an auction. :/ But I wouldn't be able to tell you when/where/how these things would be auctioned. Nothing is really ever gotten "rid" of.

Kathy Myers The ‘miriltons’ refers to one dance in the nutcracker. It’s also known as the dance of the reed flutes.

@kkiimmiissiipp true but the corps for the royal ballet swan lake wear long romantic style tutus not the pancake/platter ones that they are showing here....

Ballet is disgraceful. Like the African woman with bowls in the faces. Although with ballet it has no cultural significants
