It would definitely sweep K-pop if it's released now. The only thing I'm unsatisfied with this comeback was that they did it when fancam(individual focus/music show individual focus/music show group focus) wasn't that big, well it was big but wasn't a big part of K-pop like now? The lack of fancams to look at their costume/makeup/dance is just sad, their costumes are insanely beautiful and there's barely any videos with it...

Vixx's fandom starlight have already famously accepted and embraced the fact that Vixx is never 100% in sync lool. They each have such big personalities and really unique styles and mannerisms that you can see their differences in all their choreos. We love them though their performances always deliver the drama

Totally agree, I think that’s why I liked the Scentist choreo because the solo and small groups allowed a little bit more highlight of their strengths as individuals!

Vixx have concept crowns for a reason. This isn’t a simple love song it’s about finding shangri-la - almost like the mythological search for El Dorado - it’s a place where everything comes together in harmony. In the mv they represent elements. Hakyeon is the air and scent, Leo is the moon and the tides, Ken is water and it’s source, Ravi is the riches like metals and minerals, Hongbin is the flowers and plants, hyuk is the animals. All coming together in this ‘perfect place’ they create Shangri-la. This song gained then recognition from President Moon and they performed this song in tradition inspired costumes at the 2018 olympics committee and hakyeon and Leo even ran with the torch relay. This was seen as a proud representation of South Korean culture in modern form. The choreography hasn’t changed since they first learned it and I believe this was done by husband &wife dancers/choreographers Keone & Mari who also did Fantasy and the fans were added by Yu Jung Wan. Hakyeon is a traditionally trained dancer and is recognised within that dance as having developed standards that are now taught to new students. He’s also choreographed and performed solo performances ‘Fate’ is the most recognised one which promotes his traditional style the most with modern flair. There is also a stage where Hakyeon danced with Jimin as he is a respected dancer and has spread similarly through a lot of dance styles. There are so many songs worth hearing mvs that give them the concept kings crown include: voodoo doll, hyde & Gr8U, dynamite, closer, scentist, chained up, Fantasy, Eternity, Error and much more. Yes They do a live dance on water for Love Me Do and it like most of their work deserves more and better recognition. They were firsts in arguing with tv networks to show the coloured lenses during live stages and I highly reccomend watching the 2018/19 new year possession and resurrection performances they did onstage as priests loosing a battle for their souls and vampires born anew. Ravi who is the 3rd top copyrighted composer in kpop, CEO of his own Label and still creates his own content as well as participating in VIXX. He also does tv shows, radio and much more. Hakyeon just got out of military start of October, Leo is still in civil service till 2022, Ken just started his military and Hongbin started his enlistment early after felt had to leave the group following a hate campaign from antis, Hyuk is solo singing and acting in kdramas while others are in service. Please watch more vixx and appreciate them. 🌟💙🌌

An even amount of members always forces groups to get more creative with formations and I love when they do that instead of hiding one member behind another for the sake of creating a center position

thank you for talking about 6-person blocking!! a lot of people don’t realize how difficult it is to make it look complete, but vixx’s formations are always creative and it really lets the members shine.

Thanks for your great reaction,Elliot! This song and its choreography was one of my favourite in 2017 till now hihi. I love how graceful and intense they are in this kind of choreography. My favourite part are neck-crossing and footwork in Ken's part. I love it that much!! And also, I love both the original and cover (by the boyz (Quasi una fantasia/shangrila in Road to Kingdom performance)version of shangrila. They all are so fascinating and gorgeous ofc :)) Fyi, Vixx are not disbanded. Some of their member enlisted on military,that's why they haven't had a comeback yet. And I hope next time u will consider to react on The boyz comeback mv dance practice,the stealer if you mind! I bet u will enjoy it

Well, there are now 5 members since Hongbin left!!!😭😭😭😭😭 And no, they haven't disbanded but N and Leo are now serving in the military. So, I'm not sure when they will comeback given everyone else still has to serve, too. I was so obsessed with watching every performance of this performance. I love how on that tambourine they shake their fans.

Another of their solid song choreography’s is Blackout, it is one of their B-sides but there is a live and I think you would enjoy the choreo!

I remember somewhere they talked about learning all kinds of fan tricks and got good at them. There was supposed to be more complicated fan movements but they got cut out of the choreo.

The perfect 6 choreography formation that I have seen are from G-Friend, especially from their earlier songs (Me Gustas Tu, Navillera, Rough, Glass Bead). They utilize the 6 members so well that it is doesn't feel like having 6 members are a liability. Their formations are as free as their creative choices in their choreographies.
